agreed, but that's where midfielders and fellow defenders are there for, to receive the pass or to be where the ball is cleared to (according to formation of course)

also, as a defender, he's not supposed to be dribbling all the way to opponent's goal line u know. he often loses ball posession by doing so

obviously he'll never be as mobile as sturridge or suarez.
he was good in the first half at offering for the outlet ball from defence but his passing was a bit off

Do we seriously going to start the season with Sturridge, Lambert, and Borini as our strikers? Lambert is playing like a poor Giroud. Borini, oh god, I don't even know how to say. Only Sturridge is dependable.

Come on, being a fullback, the player must at least know how to read the game, meaning clear when needed, attack when needed. Johnson is trying to attack, dribble through 3 players, when he could just clear away, or even back pass. Seriously, I will really smash my monitor some times in the next season, if Johnson still our regular starter.
