i just recently reinstalled my OS due to hardware changes...

and due to that...all the normal apps installed in the same OS partition was gone including steam...although i did back it up in the "windows.old" folder...

i went and re-download and re-install steam app and discovered that i have to re-install all the steam games again...do i?

cause i can still c all the games files/folder in the steam folder...
games was installed in a separate partition...

anyway, question is...do i have to re-install all the game again cause there are other system files of the games that are also forced/default install in the OS partition/folder?

you can add the separate partition as a steam install folder in the options.
this will automatically add back all the games.

this assumes you have those previously installed games still accessible from the file directory.
