For those rich people, if you want to buy expensive Bukit Jalil Condo, it's better to buy Malton apartments, walking distance to pavilion 2 and Bukit Jalil park. Moreover, the units are bigger. Read https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry78919154 Skyluxe is too cramped in a very small land. Don't buy. |

QUOTE(alextyw85 @ Feb 4 2016, 01:40 PM) “Only 4,373 or 40% were sold out of the 10,877 units launched, of which 10,550 were residential units. Apartment and condominium sales were dismal, with only 779 (18%) of the 4,259 units launched being sold. Out of those 40%, 10% are fake sale by the developer themselves to give an impression of 'good sale'.“The number of unsold units rose 14% to 78% in the first half of 2015 from 64% in the same period in 2014.” Hope Sky World can see this article and reduce the price of SkyLuxe... Anyway, the Pavilion 2 new condos are going to add to the oversupply of condos. Buy at your own risk. |

QUOTE(privilege2u @ Feb 18 2016, 05:53 PM) Which location between Skyluxe and Paradigm Garden City is better on your point of view? Skyluxe is a cramped, very small land area. Go and look at the Pavilion 2 condos for better choice.Anyone here have anything to comment? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3881726 |

For those who think that earthquake won't affect a tall building, read
http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...ian-earthquake/ "The tremors were felt from the 11th floor upwards, and we are still conducting checks at the building," So those older apartments/condos with lower number of floors is actually safer than all these 30 floors new condos. QUOTE(jalsrix @ Mar 4 2016, 01:51 PM) People won't buy expensive condos for own stay when with that price you can buy a landed property with bigger space. That's your assumption, there are many kind of people in this world. Some like condo, some like landed. I personally prefer condo over landed if not staying with parents. |

QUOTE(jalsrix @ Mar 4 2016, 01:50 PM) Real life experience is more important than your so-called 'engineering background'. You really need to read more about resonance.. Why are the lower floors not affected by tremors? In layman terms.. if you put a tall antenna standing upright, and you shake the base.. you tell me, which side will 'sway' more? The bottom or top end? Your judgement and conclusions are baseless. http://blogs.agu.org/tremblingearth/2011/0...ce-frequencies/ This post has been edited by EgKev: Mar 4 2016, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(EgKev @ Mar 4 2016, 06:46 PM) You really need to read more about resonance.. Really? Then why do only the upper floors felt the tremors and not the lower floor? In layman terms.. if you put a tall antenna standing upright, and you shake the base.. you tell me, which side will 'sway' more? The bottom or top end? Your judgement and conclusions are baseless. http://blogs.agu.org/tremblingearth/2011/0...ce-frequencies/ The answer is the lower floors are more stable. Your theory failed. But the majority still prefer to stay in landed properties.Condos has a lot of problems like noisy or crazy upstairs neighbours not found in landed |

So both of you are right. Can we leave this forum to those who are really interested about this project? The answer is the lower floors are more stable. Your theory failed. |
