Anyone have personally use Adobe Photoshop for Windows 8.1? Which version is most compatible? I used Photoshop 7.0 on my old Windows 7 notebook but am not sure Photoshop 7.0 is suitable for Windows 8.1.

I have tried the Photoshop CC 2014 trial on my Windows 8.1 and its great but I am not going to pay the monthly fee just to use it as I don't use all the features. My main task is to put 2 or 3 photos into one and I find PS's drag and pull method is really good.

Any recommendation where and what version I can download for free? Thanks.

CC only got a few new features only. You can google about it. Would be best just to stay on CS 6 if you don't want pay the crap subscriptions on the CC version.

I believe the only free PS offered by Adobe is CS 3.
