braking earlier is good. from there, you measure the other racer's braking point and overtake him when the time is right. Otherwise we might need to reduce the multiplayer damage further or at worst case...vote to turn ON invulnerability.

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Sep 25 2006, 07:05 PM) guys, even the name is "AI". wrong...I just came from playing race in Spain. I overtook a Renault...and a few corners later he hit me at the sidepods They are better than us. They can avoid hitting us or when he took the inside line, they can avoid of hitting us. |

result of steward's review on ryugan's incident
1 - voted as dangerous driving 2 - with a ratio of 2 to 1, penalty on ryugan accident is to be reduced so, based on the voting of the invited stewards (not including mine)...the penalty on ryugan is to be reduced to "starting at the back of the grid" because this is the first time such an incident had happened. on a different case....edison_84's incident is voted as a normal racing incident. No penalty is given. This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 25 2006, 09:50 PM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Sep 26 2006, 12:12 AM) Talking about Monaco. Here's something for our stewards to think about. In Monaco...a small mistake can damage our car. What happen if a car crash and stuck at the middle of the track; when the track were tight...rear tyres gone = surely the car cannot move. No crane gonna pull the car off the track as well as SC. Here's where yellow flag must be obeyed. Slow down and ease the throttle until the icon is gone. |

QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Sep 25 2006, 11:52 PM) 1question..... simple...he still can block. Why not? But...do not mistaken blocking with weaving. If he is found weaving, you can just stay behind him to the finish line coz he (if found guilty) will be given enough penalty to reward you to 1st and push him down to 2nd. example....ryugan leading 1st...wif 3laps remaining....n i chasing him at behind...can ryugan block me 2 protect his 1st place?last time u all say can...but now i need 2 recomfirm...coz in real f1....u wont c so c2pid 2 let other pass u...but how bout in f1c? QUOTE What is weaving? (Show with example) The rules said that you can only block once. Eg: Lets say you want to overtake me on the right. I blocked your car by moving my car to the right. When you saw i was moving to the right, you immediately move to the left. If I move to the left again, then i will be given a penalty. (from evohahn.) QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Sep 26 2006, 12:12 AM) Talking about Monaco. back to raikkonen's question...I'm not expecting that many of us to survive in Monaco ... ... Here's where yellow flag must be obeyed. Slow down and ease the throttle until the icon is gone. If you just lost a front wing or something minor...just drive off the racing line to reach the pits in one piece. For those who don't know how...you can refer back to previous Monaco races. Maybe check youtube.com or PM linkinstreet for any clip if he can provide. TURN ON your mirror to look for cars before you pass a corner...on your way back to the pits. In some cases like losing your wheel...please just press ESC immediately. Hopeless for repair ady and yes...SLOW DOWN in yellow flag area. Otherwise you're at fault yourself for ignoring the yellow flags. Just wanna add...IF the other car only has minor damage, and he was on his way back to the pits...and 'you' hit him, you're at fault This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 26 2006, 01:14 AM |

actually the 05 track is narrower and has less grip. More realistic feel...it is after all a street used as a track.
QUOTE(gkl83 @ Sep 26 2006, 11:29 AM) perhaps we decide several straight line which allow to overlap... cannot...how can you tell at which point in the race will the front racers catch up with you? All I can say is....good luck such as at starting grid, the straight line after 1st corner and the tunnel are allow to overlap... |

QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Sep 26 2006, 01:32 PM) ah...about this. Edison had decided earlier on to give points. Coz in FIA also points were given as someone earlier mentioned and we're not exactly sure about their rules. All I know is if you finished somewhere near the chequered flag...you won't be registered as DNF.The breakdown on points/position given to DNF racers: - the racers who covered the most distance/laps will be awarded the higher position (eg. 6/24, 15/24) - for racers who DNF on the exact same lap...we will check the replay to see who completed the most distance and award respectively. - same application might be used on those who finished with "+1 lap" time This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 26 2006, 03:03 PM |

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Sep 26 2006, 03:30 PM) what??? 50%??? no wonder lah. Your 4" pedal distance can be considered as 8" man...why you 'halve' your car's accleration potential? I'm running at 90-100% all these while. Among the reasons I need TC aid |

yes...if you think about it, Spain's cornering isn't that tight and it does suit the MOMO's steering speed. Imola is much tougher...you need to either turn very fast or turn much earlier to corner.
