yeah, I was thinking about that too...since ryugan's case is actually more serious...but they get the same penalty. But in our rulebook...there is no other penalty to give....we need to enhance the rulebook first.

ok lah, considering the circumstances...I change to -1 point only. Points penalty will remain because I think "starting from the back" is not suitable.

you have to understand...there will be lag in every game we play. It happened in the first game, Australia, happened tonight, happened last weekend...its just that you have to find a new way of overtaking. The same way I overtook you tonight...using pits stop. Or you could wait till they made a mistake before overtaking them.

Give pressure to the car in front. It really works...ask staggy tongue.gif I also exchanged positions with edwin during our practice in Imola...we both give each other pressure and made mistakes. It was really fun laugh.gif

Remember what linkinstreet said, this is not GT...this is F1 icon_rolleyes.gif
Slowly learn lar...

yeah...how come you weave so much with MOMO wan? Please just drive in a straight line...let the person behind overtake if he is able to. If he still hit you at that time, its completely his fault. But now its yours...

about kei...y giv 1point deduction?
*
did I not say kEi was given points penalty for repeated accidents? Why are you asking questions which I have already answered?? I told you, I hate explaining myself again.

QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Sep 23 2006, 03:00 AM)
bout edison n raikkonen....i think raikkonen is blocking him izit?i think raikkonen can block but not lik org mabuk smile.gif......haha....n that's not totally edison fault....i think no punishment shd b given 2 both of them.....

n ryugan...i c the replay...his suspension got prob.....i sure kenny face suspension prob b4 that rite?it is not ez to handle it....n he spun....after he spun...he juz wanna get back to the road ....anyone face this incident oso will try 2 go back 2 the road...i think it is normal as i sure most of the driver at here will do the same too....
*
let's think logically for 5 seconds here. Raikkonen was found turning left, right constantly for about 4 times in 1 straight line. And again on the second straight after that. That is more than enough to consider him weaving. Wasn't this rule stated by evoHahn??

I already said!!Ryugan lost his rear wing, fine...but after losing his wheel in the 2nd accident, he was still accelrating back to the track and "PARKED" his car across the track. That caused Raikkonen to ram into him. Even if Raikkonen saw the yellow flag, he was at almost top speed man. That section of the track is around 6th gear. You're an F1 driver rite? Don't you know how long it takes to stop from 6th gear??

QUOTE(PRINZE @ Sep 23 2006, 04:12 PM)
in real life, do racers get point deduction?
in game, sometimes very hard to know yourself is back marker..  no radio communication...
*
in real life...do you park your F1 car across the track??

look...I feel like I'm going in circles here. Explaining myself to no good reason. Evo...FYI, most penalties are decided by just me and edison_84. Except for certain incidents which are a little confusing.

For example staggy's incident with gkl83 in Bahrain - we asked edwin & you (but you weren't around, and I can't think of anyone else to ask). It is very very simple. Adrian is putting blames and accusations based on what he feels. (until now, he has yet to answer my questions properly) I try to decide a suitable penalty based on what happened and what could be avoided in the race.

I too want this game to be more interesting. So far adrian has done nothing but ruin this thread. Last race, they complain because gkl83 did not get any points penalty (for taking out a racer), now they complain because ryugan got points penalty (for taking out a racer). I am seriously confused here. I have given all the necessary reasons for the penalties we assigned to each driver.

Did other racers like Ralf Schumacher, David Coulthard, Scott Speed decide the penalties given to Michael and Alonso in Hungary by vote?? I just can't believe what is going on in this thread.

Lastly if you guys think that penalties should be "voted" instead, go ahead. If you guys want a different steward, go ahead. I can't be bothered already.

*I am just going to ignore all the posts in the last 2 pages. Coz I frankly feel like we're going nowhere with all the accusations.

actually im ok with the penalty or wutsoever but then its just that its not that i purposely did it so i just felt that its like being accused
*
I'm not accusing you buddy. Its just, I can't leave you be with what has happened so far rite? You caused 3 accidents...two with edison_84, one with Raikkonen. I'm just giving you 1 point penalty to remind you to race more safely.

sometimes yes.. that's why got safety car.. or red flag..
*
I understand that there are some situations that the car ends up stalled in the middle of the track...but in ryugan's situation, he was found deliberately accelrating towards the track. I saw his rear wheels acclerating.

About Raikkonen...I think he was just unlucky la sweat.gif
did you see him? First he almost collided with ccy1989 the same way. He managed to avoid that, I'm not sure if he saw the yellow flag. Ccy1989 was just trying to go back to the track...he still had all his wheels and wings that time. He simply spun.

Ryugan still tried desperately to go back to the pits after he lost his front & rear wing and right front wheel. Anyway I have accepted Ryugan's request to review his incident. Gonna ask evohahn and edwin's opinion on the incident smile.gif It is after all...first time I see such a thing happen whistling.gif

And edison & I just spent the whole evening trying to come up with better or more suitable penalties. You guys better appreciate it tongue.gif

u ignore our words?who u think u r?pkm betul....as u mentioned...u wont bothered it anymore right ok?ok...since u dun wan bother it anymore...we let u giv all the penalties in this race(last decision for u 2 make)......but in the coming race....plz....keep ur promise...no more involvement or bother wif the accident ok...let others decide....
*
I just realized this. Let me explain what I meant in my post - "if you guys feel...". See? guys...not guy.
Means you have to vote, not decide on how you want future penalties to be done. Until then, I will still continue doing my job.
And I did not promise anything. Please don't put words into my mouth anymore.

guys, considering the points penalty system...I'm recommending we double the scoring table. Currently its like this:
QUOTE
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 5 points
5th: 4 points
6th: 3 points
7th: 2 points
8th: 1 points

I'm suggesting...
QUOTE
1st: 20 points
2nd: 16 points
3rd: 12 points
4th: 10 points
5th: 8 points
6th: 6 points
7th: 3 points
8th: 2 points
9th: 1 point
my suggestion also allows points for the 9th finisher. This is based on FIRST3 rules which Raikkonen recommended to me. Don't worry, if everyone agrees to the new points system...the championship table will be changed accordingly. smile.gif

yeah, I also think the F1 feeling is gone if points penalty change. Nvm lah, we'll just keep trying to make suitable rules then.

evo, edwin...I need you guys to help with edison's incident. Message me on MSN when you're free.

gkl83, what raikkonen meant was the part where he crashed into ryugan laugh.gif
he ignored the yellow flags mar...just that I'm not sure if he could have stopped in time to avoid the accident. In the other hand, ryugan actually moved his car to the middle of the track after he lost his front right wheel...

First time such a thing happened in F1 at all whistling.gif
in real life...if you lost a wheel...immediate retire ady tongue.gif

a day ago, the penalties were much more...devastating. Edison is angry about his 3rd retirement in 4 GPs sweat.gif tongue.gif
Also goes to show that you guys have to be more careful. Otherwise people won't be able to take part at all.

7.1C is for accidental cases...kinda like ryugan. Unintentional. Minor penalty if found guilty.
7.11 is deliberately or serious enough to consider. Obviously, 7.11 has more strict penalties because its under a more serious incident.
