mokee rom with battery saving function on, cut off data & gps when screen off. not using that time for 3 hours +

i like the idle battery saving mode. when screen off it will cut off the data , this really extend the battery

Looks promising I'll try it later. I see there's wakelock blocker also how does it work?

Any extra mods that u use? Dalvik or Art runtime?

I just installed PA also, need a few days to see how it performs.

what you see is after 2-3 weeks of not-very-often use... reason being still no SIM card. so just used for bit of browsing...

but ya, i'd say the yellow tint goes off. that's why i never bothered to ask for another set when i first saw the yellow tint... very sure its glue and would go away...

having said the above, sometimes the yellow tint on a different unit could be genuine defect... i can't guarantee 100% la... but... very unlikely lor. i'd say better to check on dead pixels (and dem... what's that other term... lazy pixel, or... i forgot again...)
*
The best option is still to carefully choose when u buy. Save a lot of time trying to get rid of it. Now that the price is so cheap everyone can just go for the 64gb.

i dun think got "save a lot of time"... we were not even putting any effort to remove the yellow tint. just use as normal as and when we could -- it's still without sim card, so most of the time, screen is off anyway.

so for those not so fussy... it does look like over time and use, the yellow will go away. no need to intentionally UV it, put under sun, etc... we just used it like normal and yes, many times, phone is idle with screen off... smile.gif
*
Better not to have the yellow tint in the first place and enjoy a perfect phone, if u have a choice to choose, why choose one with yellow?

You give me a good idea. Instead of selling and upgrading it's better to just buy another phone and keep my current one as a spare smile.gif when bored with one just change to another phone.

Private import sets cannot beat the price of bulk shipping that they have. International set costs more than to just grab from DirectD.
*
Yes, if u order 100 or 1000 sets u will get a discount as well. That explains why they can sell below the online price when time comes.

Thanks ya~! thumbup.gif

It is said that even our local sellers have been cheated by distributors in China . Some spec and hardware might have been changed. Do you have OPO ? How is it working?
*
No such report, where did u read it, kindly point out the source or is it just hearsay?

For anyone facing yellow tint issue , try this solution :

Working great with AOSP (PA) and CM11 . CM11s not working.Didnt try yet with other roms

1.Download Furnace Kernel here and install

2.Download Trickster Kernel Setting

3.Setting > Legacy Parts > Screen Color > Custom (Hue : 0 , Saturation : 0.37 , Contrast : 0.18 , Intensity : 27)

4.Trickster > Screen > (Red 220 , Green 220 , Blue 255) and tick Kernel Settings

5.Enjoy !! rclxm9.gif
*
It doesn't fix the yellow tint issue, the tint will still be there, it only calibrates the screen colour.

U can imagine another round like this when u send the phone for warranty repair and then when they send back to u the customs may tax it again. I will only consider buying the phone online if it is selling for half price from our retail shops otherwise not worth the effort.

so far so good. all the apps i using runs smoothly on ART without any problem. one 1 app "timely", when open up u have to wait a few seconds for it to load.
yes. u can always switch between dalvik and art back and forth.
*
depends on the rom I think, I'm using Paranoid Android and face reboots when playing some games, had to change back to Dalvik. On Calkulin rom it runs flawlessly and very fast.

I think it's safer to install custom rom that addresses the volume, they would've put it at a safe value.

my chinese version opo bought from directD is that comes with original color os recovery
coz i gonna flash back color os for better camera and sound quality ?
can i just flash it directly using the stock recovery ?
*
That's the original recovery for cm11s, not color OS. It only allows you to update Cm11s rom.

you can't flash cwm or any recovery without unlocking the bootloader. As long as u follow the instructions u are safe.

there's only a slight yellow tint at the bottom.. unrecognizable.. other than that it works pretty fine
*
That's the dreaded yellow tint band at the bottom, if it is unrecognizable you woudn't have known. Lets hope it clears out.

Those having problems with Digi try out the latest Liquidsmooth rom, previously my signal drops to E sometimes, with liquidsmooth it jumped to LTE! what a big improvement. Also has fast charging and battery saving feature, and a lot of features if u know how to use it.

How often do you use the earphones? In my case, almost never, unless I'm travelling, so something like the pistons will be more than enough. When I'm at home I prefer a real stereo hifi setup with speakers, and don't like having sound pounding so close to my ears.

Read Page 1. Then go to Oneplus One Xda Developer website under Android Development, Liquid Smooth rom. Instructions are listed there also.
