Every time i reboot my phone, i must import again all my contact from sim card to the internal memory, even before i reboot i swear i did copy and some of the contact i manually key in into phone memory, after reboot all gone. Only left sims card contact

Today wierd thing happen, my phone auto shut down during power low, then after i charge and restart the phone i lost my setting ie notifications tones and etc, and now my (enter) key from keyboard gone.

Sometime the battery will last until 2% then only will auto shut down, sometimes it will shut down even at 6%. I did not install any battery apps

I using the 64gb china version, with cobalt as my primary theme, and jumble with other few themes as font, green theme as boot logo and few other as icon.

seem like the volume earpiece is quite common for OPO. i planning to buy  OPO but seem like the phone is still have many problems such as yellow tint, volume issue, auto shutdown. now thinking OPO  or G3

thx for all the advice but the G3 camera speed is darn fast! how would you guy comment on the OPO camera speed ?

and the yellow band on my phone is not so noticeable

is there a way to change dns settings without rooting ?
i cant access   sites

can change dns through wifi settings
forget wifi connection first

then select wifi > put password > advance > set DNS/IP from there.

Since Android 4.4, Google changed the way Android queries the dns redirection. For now, it is only possible with root. The only app I discovered (through searching) is Override DNS(paid) which is the only one currently working for KK.

Hi everyone,

I have 2 questions.

When I tried to change from Dalvik to ART a warning message displays.

"ART is not officially supported by CyanogenMod as its highly experimental and has the potential to cause instability...bla bla bla"

1. Is it save to still change to ART?

2. Is there any way to see if my NFC is functioning? I have tried to connect to my M8 but nothing happens. Have also tried swiping my IC at the back but no sound came out. Amy apps to check on this?

just updated to the latest OTA. Finally no more yellow tint on my OPO

Just want to ask i bought this phone yesterday 64gb from 7mobile, currently the phone version is cyanogenMod version 11.0-XNPH22R and i got OTA update notification for 25R. It there any problem with this after i update to 25R? So what is your version after the yellow tint gone? Need your expertise to advise. Still new to this phone. Thanks.

Depends what kind of yellow tint,  if whole screen is yellow then it's most likely screen calibration. If only at the bottom it is glue and won't go away with any updates.

Thanks a lot for your clear explanation. I am still beginner for this phone. Phone phone got yellow tint at the bottom. The 7mobile staff told me the yellow tint will dissapear automatically while we using the phone for sometime. Don't know how true is that. How to check my phone is CM11 or CM11s?

If i want to use app which require phone to root, i just need to root it or i need to unlock bootloader as well?
P:s i dun wan flash any image or new rom.

Is this phone still has a lot of problems ? If so can someone list most of them since the OP doesn't fully updated yet . Thinking of getting on from 1G / DD next week..

For example the yellow tint , network problems , call quality etc . Do u have any problem with the phone ?
