Did not watch the game but saw we only had 3 shots on target. i know we were impressive but how were we up front.

The team close shop at half time. 2nd half can see the players passing side ways, allow burnley to attack. Iinm, just 1 shot in 2nd half. From drogba.

First half top class. Especially fabregas with his killer passing. Schurlle movement impressive as well. He could have bag a hattrick if only his first touch compliment his movement. Hazard continue his form from last season. Oscar abit overshadow by fabregas. Costa quite mobile and provide some good passes to our trident.

Defensive abit shaky imo. Both terry and cahill sloppy at times. Azpi as usual. Iva also abit shaky on the right.

After last night, it's good to see we don't have to rely on Hazard too much. With Cesc, there's another option for us to break team down. Well, it's too early to say since we're playing both promotion team in our first 2 weekends, so will wait and see.

here's the full match. 1st half it was exciting stuff, 2nd half a bit toned down. enjoy!

Btw, I'm very happy with our set up now. With Schurrle winning the WC and giving a gud performance in WC, he is ready to take Willian's place. With Fab in starting 11, we will have less pressure on Hazard and Oscar. With defenders closing down on Costa and Fab, it might just free up players like Hazard and Oscar. Tbh I saw Oscar having a lot of possession and touches in the first half, juz did not perform up to his standard. Maybe still in holiday mood? laugh.gif

Our midfield 5 is all top class. Each complementing each other. Fab with his 1 touch pass and through ball, Schurrle with is running, Hazard dribbling, Matic ball winning, Oscar hard work rate in both attack and defense. flex.gif flex.gif

Player by player - i'm impressed with the blues midfielders...although i'm not an epl fan but the line up that chelsea has this season are solid..especially in midfield...fabregas is key..so does hazard..then you've got matic , shurrle...the list goes on.

i know we had a good performance, but we shouldnt have switched off in the second half. Performance needs to be consistant. Especially against bigger sides.

but costa suka berlakun ... i stil think we dont need to field matic ..fabs already cover midfield .. instead putting 2 striker .. costa and torres
*
no matic? i think that is nearly impossible JM will left him on the bench. he is pretty much a confirm starter already. i think it is no about owning the midfield. matic was there to plug the spaces left by our defenders when they are out of the position. we can put mikel or ramires in his place but we will lose the creativity drive that matic offer to the team.

I prefer they to switch off on 2nd half.mind game at it best brows.gif plus can save energy.later near end of season all tired + fatigue.

Anyway,3 point is important than 10-0

I'd think its match fitness issue, 1st half was fast pace. oscar, hazard, schurrle all come back late from world cup.
I didnt expect schurrle to start at all, quite suprising line up actually. all out best eleven.
