Haha, unable to control auto reload all the time flow on weekends also unless you have holding another TnG card or Zing card

Actually can control just that we need to monitor zing balances , for example when zing card reach rm80 plus plus then we go yo kk mart buy some sin items like beer ciggy or prepaid reload so that the final balance is 50 plus plus.

I managed to reload RM100 TnG using gift card few days ago but not a smooth sailing ones.
Have to avoid asking the "familiar faces" who don't allow using gift card top up. Need to find fresh faces who will allow it. Finally found one who accepted gift card for TnG top up.
Unfortunately, when I wanted to buy more gift card using cc, the staff who doesn't allow using girt card to top up TnG happened to be responsible for the gift card activation and he probably realized that I managed to topped up TnG using CC indirectly via gift card redemption. So he was quite relunctant to allow me to pay by CC, cited reason that he needs to refer to his supervisor. I don't want to escalate the matter and just cancelled the purchase. No big deal, I managed to buy gift card by CC from another store yesterday.

Tips for all.
You don't want to make them realise that you are actually topping up TnG with CC indirectly via gift card. The management will patch this loophole if we do it terang terang. Buy gift card together with your grocery purchases this week and top up TnG next week.

'bout the Giant gift cards, there are issues as well. my 2 cents...

I bought gift cards from Giant outlet A, then use the gift cards at Giant outlet B. They rejected 2-3 pcs of the gift cards (i bought 10 pcs) Went back to outlet A and able to use the so-called "rejected" gift cards easily. Fed up with Giant gift cards liao

I don't think should list this outlet, chances of gift card acceptance is very low. Even want to buy gift card with cc also make things difficult for you. Don't waste time and petrol for this store.

Better keep the gift card payment receipt just in case the the cashier forget to activate the card.

In Tesco, every cashier counter have ePay service available notice promptly written payment by cash only. Again, very much depend on how well the training provided and the staff who serve you, sometimes blur blur newbie cashier accept payment by credit card, sometimes vouchers and cash only and sometimes cash only.
