QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Mar 17 2015, 04:53 PM) Reload TnG will incur 6%? Shouldn't it be utilizing the TnG card only will incur 6%? Reloading before or after GST makes no difference right? small difference... for example, reload in mydin got 50 cents service charge per reload. so after gst will be 53 cents. but i still want to save that 3 cents per reload. so i will be reloading rm1k within this month to save 6 cents. lol...

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Mar 17 2015, 05:03 PM) No GST for reload at TNG hub & PLUS customer service counters - confirmed by TnG official twitter handle. GST will apply when you spend it though. Hence reloading no real difference. Okay la, like uncle victory said, can save 6 cents =p

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Mar 17 2015, 11:36 PM) GST will apply when you spend it though. Hence reloading no real difference. Okay la, like uncle victory said, can save 6 cents =p gst is a consumption tax imposed on goods or services. TNG is an eWallet that stores monetary value, which is not GST taxable. If tng kena gst, our bank account balance kena gst? only when you utilise the TNG credit for other services (e.g. pay for dunkin donuts which is 'goods' and could include GST in its price), then the amount deducted from TNG is donut price + GST amount.

QUOTE(endau02 @ Mar 18 2015, 01:45 PM) TnG reload is subjected to Gst? As per the post #1204 above mentioned, if there is reload fee of RM0.50, that RM0.50 will be imposed GST, which makes it RM0.53. Depends on which merchant you reload from, the range of GST can be from 3 cents to RM15 (if reload RM1500 from merchant who charges RM0.50 per RM50). QUOTE(felicious @ Mar 16 2015, 06:00 PM) Twice, I tried to asked to reload TnG at SAM Gurney Paragon without buying anything and they told me system down, no TnG reload allowed. Then, on the other days when I buy something from them, the cashier allows me to reload with MBB Amex / HLB Wise. Anyway, had you tried on Sunway Carnival SAM? I asked last month but they said they don't have this service yet. Reloaded TnG at Gurney Paragon on 14 Mac at the rokok counter using Amex, also bought prepaid reload using Amex. No problems at all. Did not have to buy anything from Sam's Maybe the cashier is less trained. The people manning the rokok counter looks like supervisor level, the cashiers are mostly bangla. The first time I went to reload, the Bangla cashier said that Amex is not allowed, then his friend said okay, and everything went smoothly after that.
