if you are referring to only length, quite a number of developments has it.
but if you are referring to minimum size to match olympic size (including width), then the pool of development shrunk considerably.

usually the development would market these as "lapping pools" in which it could be as tight as just 2 lanes worth of 50m length pool.

I actually like 50 meter pool. Why so big? There are many people who like to train their heart i.e. cardio exercise. Which such a length, it is just perfect for a good swim.

So big dont come cheap..

Mayb he want join olympic game......dy dy traning in his condo.......

A lot of swimmers would prefer the 50m distance ma, especially if they swim regularly.

However, I would think that this is rarely a major influence in decision making for a condo purchase.

ya, i joined for nearly a year..and yes facilities for resident in ceva n beva

if u have amex treatpoint u can use it to redeem the membership..however if u are frequent swimmer and swim a lot, monthly fees i think about 60++ oni.. can go gym, pool and got sauna also. and their locker, tower, parking will be free also..

so big for lap swimming.. damn nice.. oni set back is the pool is flat at 1.2m and lots of disturbance of children swimming especially school holiday

Yeah people like to stand in water 1/4 way, 1/2 way of the whole lap. It's almost impossible to have an uninterrupted swim for the whole lap.

I go for my regular swim in this club. Pretty decent pool and they have an area for kids also,

haha somehow kinda agree..always...always will have some kids will suddenly swim in ur lane..and got ppl stand at the end when u about to reach the end. worse some barger with kids just no smart enough to teach their kids to swim at the kids session..

but i do manage to have many session of uninterrupted swim.. feel superb after that

If one is looking for a full 50m lap swim, he almost has to also check if it is possible to have uninterrupted swim for the whole lap. In some of the pools which I went to, they reserve a few lanes by putting dividing cable on it. Anyway swimming pool is kind of luxury item these days. With the dry spell going on, soon we are going to run out of water to drink/wash/bath.

i think serious swimmers should stick to public pools then like kelana jaya, bukit jalil or the one near velodrom cheras.
some of these offer more than 1 olympic size pool. and of course diving areas as well.

depend very much on requirement bro.. if ppl like me only know how to swim , duno how to dive or 'stand' water..1.2m depth flat is quite ok since can swim lapping. i use to go kelana jaya swim but the cleanliness is parking security is always concern to me.

dont know why their toilet always have shit smell and the parking supposingly its a free parking but got ppl stand by there and collect money. when i park at side corner always afraid will kena scratch or something. then also afraid my wallet , car key n phone kena curi while i swim since there is no locker provided in kelana jaya.. my friend kena curi b4 in ipoh swimming pool

Was told the one at Putrajaya near Pullman Hotel is good, new and clean

You have yet to kena some perverted guy standing by at the side of the pool timing your distance between lap then purposely swim across hopefully can bump into you, they will take this chance to rub their body onto yours. I'm a guy btw.

Condo swimming pool is a private pool, not public sports pool !

the depth cannot be olympic standard. too deep. need lifeguard.
1 end is more than 6ft deep. the other end is about 12ft deep.

best public swimming pool is commonwealth swimming pool at bukit jalil.

else, if luxury condo claims to have a pool but in the end deliver a 8m x 10m pool. you happy or not.

speaking of pool, one needs to define clearly:
wading pool
dipping pool
lapping pool
children pool
family pool
etc

that one i find it too cold.
but good for serious swimmers since they have no 'standing' area by the side and no place to hold so you either swim or get out. kekeke.

I just check the so-called olympic pool, it's said to have 2m depth. That's good enough to get rid of the nonsense standing in the middle of the pool ! I love it !

yup. you cannot hold on the floating lane as well.... lifeguard will whistle and give warning.

it's a covered pool hence the drop in temperature.
try it and you would know what i mean.
it's not like a typical exposed pool.
indoor pool usually will have this problem.
i prefer proper outdoor pool to indoor pool.
lack of breeze or something.

seni tak ada lifeguard.... pool not deep enough to have lifeguard. nowaday new condo swimming pool most depth around 3-4ft only.

One KL should qualify as the condo with the highest number of pools

94 apartments, 95 swimming pools : 94 private pools for each unit n one communal pool

aiya life guard= cost
cost = higher maintenance.

even they got lifeguard also Banglas one, Myammar ones... if we could just have those Baywatch lifeguards like David Haselhoff (dun mistaken of gay) of course in high end condos..

I'm sure after a decade there hasn't been many condo with 50m swimming pool

My dad coaches and swims over 3km a day. It would be great if someone can recommend a condo with a 50m pool , it would be more economical than a club membership that discourage coaching .
