Doing the "dirty" before workout session, Yay or Nay?

Yo guys, Been a long time since I last posted. As per topic, is it better to release your man batter (ehem ehem) prior to workout sessions?
Have read multiple articles saying sex and masturbation increases testosterone levels and some MMA (female one I recall) swears by this principal.
However bro science and traditional advice will go against this. I ask this die to the fact that I actually experience an amazing pump and increased energy! I have yet to replicate this again as I was trying to drill down what I did pre-workout which contributed to this before doing the deed.
Any advise from brothas here?

I believe it's more to a psychological thing ? I don't see how doing that "activity" will increase testosterone by alot , probably at a minimal level ? Plus , how does testosterone relates to energy

In regards to a solo venture, I find that I am lazier in between my sets and just find a general lack of motivation. This conundrum is worsened with a partner because the very act of getting out of bed after a cardio-intensive activity becomes difficult. Moreover, I find I'm very fatigued by the time I reach the gym and it's hard for me to give it my all. This is very strange because I've found that most of my best days in the gym are days when I haven't gotten enough sleep.
From a psychological perspective, I find that my main motivation to go to the gym is to improve myself, to look better for myself and for the female companions. Having already attained my ultimate primal goal, there's very little motivation for me while I'm at the gym.
In my opinion, a starved mind works harder for its primal needs. At least it does in my case.
