1. Preferred Brand: Asus or Msi
2. Budget: RM4K 3. Usage: Gaming, 24/7 4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15"+ So i really wondering on these two models which is Msi GE60 Apache Pro and Asus G551JM. They exactly cost in same prices, but looks like Msi's features is alot especially gaming, and Asus got not much features. My frens told me that Msi's GE60 got alot heat and noise issue is that true? And considering on build quality and services, which brand do you guys prefered? I really need some advices...quite confusing now... |

QUOTE(DragonRiderStar @ Feb 9 2015, 02:42 PM) By comparison both notebooks are equal as they have i7 processor and Nvidia 970M GPU with the MSI GE62 being cheaper by RM500. actually i don't trust Msi too much...i think its build quality is worse than Alienware, i went to a shop at kl test them and i use my hand to feel them before...i feel msi is getting hot faster when gaming and alienware doesn't, both gaming performance is not much differentBut there are also a few other slight differences to consider. Check the Intel i7 model as MSI has recently upgraded to the i7-4720HQ. Only minor differences with i7-4710HQ but a newer chip nonetheless. http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/0/Intel_C..._i7-4720HQ.html Alienware HDD is usually 5400RPM while MSI GE62 is using 7200RPM HDD. So make sure you upgrade your HDD if buying the Alienware. There is one major difference and should make the MSI GE62 Apache Pro the better choice. For the lower price, you're getting a 15'6 UHD 4K IPS panel. |

1. Preferred Brand : Any
2. Budget : RM6K 3. Usage : Gaming, photoshop, premiere, rendering 4. Preferred laptop/screen size : >15" Im really interested in Alienware 15 right now, is that worth getting aw15 in rm5999? Cuz i found other brands laptop in same specs but cheaper than aw15 alot. I also interested in Asus G751, but my fren tell me that Asus's laptop is suck, and bad service, really? Msi gaming series also very attract me, but i dun trust Msi, i've no heard this brand before... This post has been edited by tank_slayer: Feb 24 2015, 02:35 PM |
