I tihnk the RE-15 EVO is a good choice due to the balance in terms of portability, performance and price. Use remaining budget for warranty extension, upgrade screen, SSD upgrade, and OS, should leave you with some budget left for awesome customization of appearance or accessories purchase 

Halo there . I have been doing research on gaming laptops . So far , I got my hands on asus g750jz(unfortunately no ssd , you could changed it yourself. And it's hard to repaste or clean it personally  ) , illegear rs17 evo/rx 17 evo ( went there and took a look on the laptops ! Very sturdy built ) full customizable , gigabyte p25w , Alienware m17 r4 ( if you game a lot , probably you could break your battery as it's not removable when using ) or msi but the new upcoming model gt 72 look much appealing as compare to gt 70

I didn't recommended Alienware because you will need an even higher budget for similar specs. But then with that money you really do get an awesome machine: heavy, but definitely an awesome gaming machine with great cooling, performance and also after sales service

Asus is definitely out due to Asus Malaysia's very poor after sales services... you definitely don't want to have to deal with them especially when you are using a highend and expensive laptop in which components are even harder to find/source

MSI is pretty good, but warranty service is okay (only). But I suppose the biggest drawback is the upgradibility part, afaik there are many warranty void stickers in MSI gaming notebooks. Unless you know some shop ppl who are willing, and experienced enough to do the upgrades for you, you will probably have to pay a lot more, and do a lot more work (reinstalling Windows onto your SSD etc. if replacing HDD)

Illegear is known for good after sales service (if opted) and of course, customizability. The RE and RS series have damn good cooling as well iinm, please read their reviews on the barebones or equivalent Clevo units for more details (can look in the dedicated Illegear thread). You might want to check on the underlying barebones, but afaik, the RS series are better than RE series; but they are of course, a lot more expensive la haha Getting the RS means you will have less budget for SSD upgrades = slower performance. But then you could always do the upgrade later on when you have the budget. Talk to Prince J, he is the expert here, and I'm sure he can advice better 

As for 15" and 17", it all depends on whether you need the portability or not... if weight is not an issue at all, then 17" is definitely better- better viewing pleasure + better heat dissipation

My opinion are my own ya  The final choice is up to you

HEHE yes ! there is a shop . I went there . It's in damansara empire @Prince J <<< . Btw , mhm i chose gigabyte P25w v2 though since its aint that bulky . But the illegear laptops are a bit bulky if u wouldnt mind of course . It's more like a desktop replacement for the illegear rs and rx evo but if u are finding gtx 880m then my friend only re ,rs and gigabyte . No worries about overheating  !  It took me quite awhile to think which to choose >.< ! Unfortunately , illegear only provide good after sales service for illegear laptops T.T (I meant FOC for repaste and cleaning fans but illegear laptops are kinda friendly easily can open up)

If you went to the illegear website you should be able to see their spec Just some basics its over 6k . If u have budget problem then Asus is still a better option unfortunately . If there's no budget then you SHOULD GET RX 17 evo with SLI 880m + 120hz screen !Or Re or gigabyte for gtx 880/870
