I should remind you that Asus Malaysia's after sales service is No. 1 in terms of lousiness in Malaysia  Best to avoid even though their notebooks look great and are generally reliable

There are only 2 brand-lines with awesome keyboards- Dell XPS and Lenovo Thinkpad (apart from the MBA, of course )
The XPS 13 is MBA 13's direct competitor but its above your budget, but if you are hardworking, you should be able to find an earlier generation for within RM3k

As for the Thinkpad, yeah noneed to say they are all super expensive (>RM5k ), but this new Yoga is pretty good (KB style same as new Thinkpads, but much shallower):

Still, since you have a budget of RM3k, it might be best to consider MBA 13 la since for the first time Macs are cheaper than Windows counterparts (not counting softwares*)

But make sure you are familiar with Apple first, cause you might have incompatibility issues if you need to transfer documents etc.

For a keyboard warrior who types a lot, I think its still best for you to go for ultrabooks like the ones suggested..
Netbooks are alot lighter, cheaper, and offers better battery life, but you get a lot less performance and reliability

I would suggest you to go and check out the Dell XPS13, MBA 13 and Lenovo Yoga 2-13, try and type on them, then decide from there. The KB should be the deciding factor, otherwise you will have a problem if you can't type long on your upcoming notebook
