QUOTE(AllnGap @ Aug 22 2006, 12:43 AM) this is a side view of the graphical LCD........enjoy the pics ! Nice mod. I like the way you made use of spacers rather than building a whole acrylic enclosure. Very inspirational How did you attach the two acrylic surfaces together? Would epoxy glue leave any 'glue-stains'? Couldn't see any indication on how you attached them together as it was crystal clear! And how far back did your vertical stand have to be to prevent the top-heavy end of the LCD from causing the whole thing to topple over?

Ic ic, so because the glue is clear, all you need to do is fill up the entire surface-contact area for it to be unnoticeable. Lol, only an engineering student would use the word 'moment'. So you're saying that the neck's length has to be sufficiently short as to balance out the weight of the LCD screen? (to keep the moment about the x-axis as low as possible)

Yea, I've got no illusions of it being a cakewalk but I'll give it a try anyway Thanks for the tips anyway. Much appreciated This post has been edited by tyrion4: Sep 14 2006, 01:53 PM
