Ando and Nani are the 2 that stick out the most, for me. Injuries, poor form..at an age when they should be at or near their peak. The only way I can see Nani staying would be if LVG has serious plans to keep a winger system as his regular plan B but doesn't want to sign too many players in this window. He used the new system in the tour because the squad really needs to learn to play it, but during the PL season he will be more flexible to changing formations when needed.
After those 2, the next obvious guys at risk will be the #9 and #10 guys cos the team is super stocked in those positions (i.e. selling some will not risk crippling the team). Rooney and Mata had a great tour, Welbeck has his role as the runner. RVP is obviously big in his plans. That leaves Chicharito, Kagawa, Fellaini. Chicharito already hinted he is fed up of the bench, and it's not like he was on fire in the tour. Most likely to leave us, sadly. Kagawa could leave, but since he hasn't been so vocal about complaining he might be given time to improve (unless BVB or some other club tempts us or LVG really wants to boot him). Fellaini really hard to say, since he isn't even back from holidays yet. I know there are the Napoli rumours and all that talk about LVG not seeing him as good enough for the team, but sometimes the press like to goreng up shit. Only time will tell if it's legit or BS.
thing is, as much as i like chicha, it's high time for him to go. there's no one like Ole anymore who willing to duduk diam2 at bench and do his stuff when called upon. if he wanna leave, so be it. as for nani, lvg oledi said the squad is imba. our coming season formation most likely will be 352 or 433. lvg never mentioned about playing our traditional 442. the 2 aforementioned formations are not suitable for wingers unless they got some skills up their sleeves that we dun know. for 433, we have tonnes of those can play at the front 3. for 352 with wing backs, nani oso not suitable. it's better he leaves. 27yo, not prime yet. bugger off then. like AuRevoir said, never in my entire manutd supporter's life that i see manutd playing any formation other than that traditional 442. i guess this is wat we get in hiring a continental manager.
