Tube Amp VS Normal Amp, Need advice

Dear Sifus,
Would like to check with you guys, what are the differences between tube Amp & normal Amp?
Apart from that may i know what are the difference between a cheap Amp & branded quality Amp?
Tried to google, but still not that clear about it, Is it only about the power supply? Thn clean or not clean?

Go read up Amp efficiency.
Tube Amp does sound good, but to power a typical modern speaker need quite lot of power...
Go read up Class A-D and T amp

you need learn how to differentiate a good & bad high,mid and low then from there you know what to do. just my 2 cent.

tube amp often got a peculiar sound, some ppl call it "tubey" sound. this, according to them, makes the sound warmer, more detailed compared to normal amp. of course, tube amp (good ones) are really expensive, and very difficult to get some sound testing in Malaysia. You have to hear yourself to make your own judgement as sound is subjective, what sounds good to me not necessarily sounds good to you.

ironically that warm sounding are used together with detailed sound....
from my past experience, most of the people that use the term "warm sounding", their system are too flat and plain to me...and sometimes i called it "muddy".
but only 2-3 person out of hundred do really have a warm and detailed system....
back to topic...
TS are comparing real tube amp or amp with tube preamp with normal mosfet amp?
