Tomorrow is my first day going to work.
I'm confuss, what to prepare.
I haven't know who should i report myself too.
This is a contract 6 months on training job.
I'm now lost, don't know what to wear and what to prepare???

I'm doubt here. Plz advise me.

Moving so fast? After graduated 1.5 years ago? Hehe....I wonder what's the market value from APIITIANs? Goodluck to both of you. Normally, you are NOT expected to go staight to your tasks on your 1st day. Mostly likely briefing from bosses around the co. and that kind of thing. If you are given a laptop and email access, it's the best time to update your email contact, best way to kill time.

I just started new job last few days too!!
and my boss mentioned the first month would more tend like honey moon~~ kekeke...

not really 1.5 years..i've been working 1 year only and now contract expire and i have this permanent one...and its much more technical...kinda scared if get trashing but thats life..

anyway apiit or not, im not sure if that helped.

go sleep early now and few hours later you gonna start you new job.

For my first day, I didn't really prepare well. Just required documents as requested by HR.

In terms of attire, I didn't wear formal too ... HR said not a necessary.

The night before I couldn't sleep well. Perhaps too nervous/excited.

What to wear?
Try to go with formal. If your office practise casual clothings, you can start with that on Tues.

What to bring?
PDA or notebook + pen to write important stuff down like mentioned above.

What else to do?
Be nice, talk to everybody including the cleaning lady. Stay humble.

Walk in tall and be confident. Let it feels like your presence is important so you dont feel intimidated and start sweating (I know someone like that). Smile. Relax, it will be over soon (in 8 hours) and tomorrow, it's gonna be a better day!
