QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 4 2014, 12:40 PM) Bought imitation still dare to drive with confidence ar Ha ha David. You crack me up. Yes I have the UR FSB. But i held back on buying the UR ARB because I cannot brain the simple piece of metal just screw on to the two ends of the Saga torsion Bar. ![]() ![]() The 1 u bought, not only overly designed. Too much component. Too much added weight to the car, defeat the purpose. Chances of component falling off/loosen is much greater risk. Compare to our Ultra Racing genuine Anti Roll Bar, backed by strong recorded evidence before and after, with proper equipment and closed environment slalom test result, that shows reduce G force. So tell me, what do imitation product has to offer in terms of prove of functionality? Until i saw the 3max Arb. Properly fastened and designed, so I tried it, it works. Many ah bengs in their 1.5cc god cars kena whack in corners.... So how? Ok what... |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Aug 7 2014, 10:52 AM) I hereby announce that, even if your Proton Saga is FLX which comes with IAFM+, this is not a guarantee that you will escape the dreaded Tak tak tak tak syndrome after a few years of usage. Anyway to SUNAT or get rid of said +iafm? Dear Proton, improved component my foot lah. kbai~ I heard there was a mechanic who could do it well... hmm.. |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 7 2014, 12:02 PM) No need to do anything to it. The rubbish tak tak tak sound is either the built in purge valve for IAFM+ or the external purge valve for IAFM on older model, which happened more frequent on BLM/FL. However, 1 should note that the sympthoms of having bad purge valve is slightly different than having loose shims on the valve tapper. Bad purge valve will have sound like "tock tock tock tock" very loud & bassy noise, whereas loose valve shims will have sound like "tek tek tek tek", milder & higher pitch sound. Wow... yeah expected it to be so difficult. Touch wood mine is ok. Lets keep it that way...To repair purge valve for IAFM/IAFM+, just replace it for a small price to pay, usually within 200. If u wish to get rid of the ticking noise from valve shims, it needs to take off the entire engine head, detach 16valves, regrind the valves, clean up the engine head thoroughly with petrol, soak it on high detergent engine oil over night, reseat the valves, put in new shims, plot a new set of head gasket(recommend to use organic gasket instead of metal gasket to avoid leakage, once u open the engine head there's no guaranteed straightness of the head). Then your engine will be silent as new. Oh & probably need a new set of timing belt after the top overhaul. Cost of top overhaul will cost around 1-1.5k depending on labor charges of the workshops. So, does it worth that much of trouble just to get rid of the noise? Performance wise, don't expect much difference. In the end, its only a restore job. |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Aug 8 2014, 05:28 PM) Unrelated. But borrowing your pic as cover. Gambar hiasan.Yesterday night I saw a mad person driving a BLM on EDL. Why i call him mad? His tires were oversized, never mind.... his rims were jutting out of the wheel arches, okay up to him, .. But both his back tyre( and front if i am not mistake) were all bent out in a crazy angle....i dont know what kind of style you call it but all the tyres was like bent at a 30 degree angle. From behind you would see both left and right tyres bent outwards 30 degress.... Really really crazy. I dont what that dude was trying achieve?? |
