New resolution options for main camera like here:

warranty wise ori set, even got high performance on AP set, still not worth if battery performance also suffer on low spec version

but i think they forgot to add 2 more mode,
its adding simple text & picture resize.
i hate to close 'gallery' n open another app to change that.
suppose a basic thing to have in every picture editing app.
since they tweak something on 'beautification' why not add this 2 things. hmmm

The zenfone.apk root file cannot be used for the version 1.17 firmware. I got thrown back into the ASUS ZENFONE 5 demo (but oddly I can access the phone, play with it, etc, but confirmed via root checker root is not present).

Did you unroot your phone first before updating to the latest patch?

as far as the zenfone root apk, you need to factory reset your zenfone to be able to use that again.

I kena before, decided to just update my rooted phone, the patch is no problem, but the phone became unrootable after that. I need to factory reset the phone only then can use zenfone root apk again.

This phone catches my attention till I had to move on from a highly premium crafted Huawei Ascend P7.

My friend's HTC One could not even come close when comes to low-light photography.
