Asus Zenfone 5 white or I here. So far have been pleased with it a lot. Battery is so so, but it's a new device. Lots of installing and the battery is "breaking" in still. So time will tell. Second best RM500++ spent!

QFT. waze is okay for the traffic, as gmaps, but they don't have lane guidance. Considering how crappy KL highways are with stupid amount of flyover getting the lane right is very important. Nokia Maps have it. Wish Nokia port their Here maps soon.

My experience is same as sugardaddy. Also get warm if use gps in 1 hour or more, but that's expected la.

On XDA (yes there's a thread for zenfone rooting there), it's using the apk method. Not sure if zf4 okay or not, because it's tested to work for zf5/6

I disagree. Stock earphone very good sound quality for included set. Not done side by side comparison with my collection of earphones and headphones yet, but it's not a bassy mess or anything. On par with apple ori earpods.

Can confirm. Plug in good headphones, like >RM500 ones, and it can drive it fully and sound damn good.

The speaker is weak though so when in noisy place beware missing some calls and notification. But the speaker is fairly good even if weak volume, but don't expect miracles la.

IIRC KK even breaks a few functions of the SD card, so not sure why everyone wants it so bad. Not much left behind considering we're on 4.3. Hopefully Asus keeps. their promise and update is to L.

alang2 tny psal root, wanna know if first time root will wipe everything, like usual? Did root before on Nexus 7, but read somewhere that root on zenfone doesn't wipe...

What's market price for the Zen view case? Kind of want it, should be very useful haha

I got a knockoff one from DD. Sad that I can't use the zen preview thing because it has plastic window. The original one is just a hole right?
