Getting it straight from camera involves using a direct flash just right outside the field of view of the lens. Remove the hood and use a larger aperture.

Getting it in photoshop is via color efex pro 4, graduated fog.

True, Kind of overused the fog effect.
Hard to reproduce it to a similar effect on all pics too.
Those pics are shot in Sg. The bridge was an abandoned KTM path.

Hi, all pros. I have some issues here regarding the photography. I'm noob in photography so need you all pros to aid me.

Everytime after I import my raw photo to my PC, all my photos' colours appear to be quite dull and boring. And mostly all of the photos I have to edit using lightroom. ( increase contrast and tones ).

I'm not really fancy in editing in lightroom as it will drop the quality of the photo. I usually set white balance to auto. Play using aperture Priority with low ISO. Shutter speed will always be 2 times more than my camera lens length. I do not know what else I need to check already......    

For your info below is my camera and lense info.

Canon 70D.
Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art
Canon EFS 10-18mm STM
Canon EF 50mm F1.8 STM

hi, just wondering have any of you guys change shutter for a 6d? i had my shutter change last week at canon service center, but now having a misfocus issue . i do shoot at wide aperture.

I think ill stick to the 100mm, cause the MFD is 0.3m, very useful for me

50mm is to equiped for night photography.

Yong Nuo is for just in case night photography potrait, imagine 1/30 shutter speed(major streelights still able to capture) then just a bit of flash for face coverage

I bought 50mm 1.4 before, import unit. 1 year warranty by seller. Use few months, sold it and upgrade to canon 50mm 1.2. Focus point slow but colour is beautiful la.
