Last Night my spare part just arrived to fix my lens
1.Disassemble the lens and, Feel the horror, your lens is in pieces. Take a pic at each step so that you remember what goes where. Make sure you label them,

2. Order some parts off ebay from china, Hoping it is not some con man, and jump around when the postmen delivers it

3. Take some picture in a studio set for the thrill of it, make some comment like "Upon opening you can see a box which contains the part"

4. Take more pictures and make some more comments "Ooh, nice bubble wrap, later i press press"

5. Feel the joy when you finally see the part "Hallelujah, le savior part. This is how the damn part looks like, well i could have bought just the flex cable but i have no soldering skills"

6. Put the parts along side by side, snap a pic and scold the old one "Wai u broke and make me spend money?"

7. Finally fix it and take a pic for memorablia.

8.After assembly, take a pic of poison for LOLYAT kaki to envy, another one of my toy. lols

Canon Malaysia does not condone own repair, but fvck it Canon repair is so expensive. Noobs will not be able to fix their own lens except civic_noob as it takes patience and steady hands to do it
