KLANG’S 125-year-old railway station may cease operations as a new station is to be built adjacent to the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) headquarters in Jalan Perbandaran.

The proposal was made by Prasarana to Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) in line with the proposed realignment of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) route.

It was learnt that Prasarana is planning to build a railway stop for the Komuter trains near the proposed Bandar Klang LRT station located at the KTMB reserve land at Jalan Raya Barat below the proposed elevated LRT station.

Since the construction of the new railway station will be funded by Prasarana, it is believed that KTMB will not object to the proposal.

lrt3 call station 3 but kelana jaya extension call glenmarie both beside airport road.

btw i'm confuse with the LRT3 glenmarie station name too.

it's better to reserve that land for kidex or pj dispersal link
