50mm is narrow'er and good for portrait, while 35mm is more wider and can also take portrait but just walk closer

I need 1 35mm and then a zoom kaukau lense.... tight budget tight budget

ya, I know. The 50mm on APS-C will be around 75mm, quite "too close" like you said for daily use. It's only good for special use, as many said 85mm is a portrait lens. 
So midvalley several camera shops are selling the 50mm at 750? I bet that includes the Key Colors which is just next to the Sony Shop? Wondering if a mark2 is on its way.... 

if you got 30mm from sigma already, no need to consider the sony one, save some cash for others

From my opinion, since you got kit and 30, might as well go for zoom next. LOL, if 2.8 not yummy, 50f18 even better

DOF of F2.8 on APS-C will always be SAME as DOF of F2.8 on FF.
DOF of F5.6 on APS-C will always be SAME as DOF of F5.6 on FF.
DOF of F8 on APS-C will always be SAME as DOF of F8 on FF and so on...

its due to working distance, you move back, causing changes in 'out of focus area'(bokeh) by Focusing, that cause the area to compression to look smaller that seem like sharper.(like taking a 24mp blur photo and resize to 2.4mp and it looked tack sharp)

do not mix the DOF with out of focus area compression (Bokeh) up as the same thing, they are totally different thing, but have a very very complex relationship.

Yes, f2.8 should be shaper than f1.8
Most lens produce sharper images by stopping down.
