Guys.. Do you turn AEL on? What is it for? I don't really understand how does auto exposure lock work

Don't really understand about the lock. I'm using nex 5r and there are no hard button for AEL, I only can set in the settings. Should I turn it on or off? does AEL linked to metering settings??

whats the GPS for? geo tagging? hopefully they launch new a6000 before CNY.. been following sony alpha rumours, but they didn't mention any new e-mount APS-C camera

yeah.. FF camera and the latest sel1635z lens is within my budget but I only use on travel and random shot smile.gif so the camera size and weight is the problem.. not really a hardcore photographer even my camera gear dealer asked me to stick with ASPC. I'm just curious about FF camera and Lens.
