Usually its the gums / stickers that worries me for cheapo glass or sp. After removing glass, will the residue still be there and cause a stain. Nillkin or similarly quality branded glass SP should be adequate but Spigen or same quality gum should stick much better and supposedly leave no residue.

The thinner the glass is, the easier it is to break. I'm a bit sceptical about those 9H claim tho, I think these cheapo glass claim's should be taken with a grain of salt.

The oleo thingy is really overhype. It usually works for only a short while. For my RM120 Spigen Nano, abt 3 months, tho some mentioned lesser. SO either way, its gonna be gone in short while. No oleo film after that...

No fault yet, just worry coz unit not tested. Go home tonite test. As for courier send SC, it will definitely take MUCH longer to repair if not send in person.

My wife is using stock ROM, when making calls using loudspeaker mode, from my S4, I heard a lot of background and sometimes sharp noise interference and the audio of her voice is softer than expected. Its just like no noise cancellation and her casing has all its noise cancellation hole exposed. A bit disappointed with loudspeaker (on her lap) noise quality.

Have to compared it with my outdated S4, her side hear my clearly without any background or sharp noise interference just like speaking beside the ears. I guess the valued price does has its cost cutting somewhere.

Either you have not remove the original plastic that cover the screen that comes with MI3 or your new SP somehow blocked it.

My wife HP is on Maxis postpaid, daughter celcom prepaid. Both only use wifi for internet and switched mode to 2G only.

Not going to do factory reset. Is it stable enuf without factory reset?

Yesterday, almost updated the os via OTA but cancelled it when it almost reach completion when I read abt maxis connection no stable.

Is it possible the update wipe out the 3G setting in the phone. If yes, maybe re-downloading it from maxis support site but be an option?

1K price !!!! I tot would be at least RM1200 or slightly above.

Damn regret getting the 3rd MI3 if that is the pricing here.

With MI4 specs and pricing now in our market, if xm flood it again...I really don't know how Samsung, HTC is going to compete. Their S5 and future S6 range pricing koyak liao...

Don't really mind for first 2 units, utilized in full now, so no feel regret. The 3rd unit can actually wait and now sitting collecting dust while waiting to be use in a couple of months, so that's the regret..

He is being sarcastic lar...unless he betul betul use it as door stopper, you never know...

The English version cause a delay in activation but the Chinese version is faster. However its wakelock is consuming anywhere from 4% to 9% of my S4 battery so far.

Thank goodness I stop the download at 90% when I read abt network issue. My wife using Maxis will kill me if the improvement I make on her phone disabled it instead...

There is a high possible you have a rogue app running in background that uses the CPU and consume battery like water. Is the phone hot when it goes off?

Try installing battery monitor app such as gsam battery monitor, wakelock detector, etc. Watchdog lite will detect CPU usage above a certain percentage (ie. 40%) and beep/notify when it happens.

Reboot your phone and install a combo of these apps (mine using gsam and watchdog lite combo apps for monitoring) if check if it happens again, you can use them to identify the culprit the rogue app.

I've used the English version of that MiKey app for my S4. There is an irritating delay when activating the key after long sleep or for first time after reboot phone. The delay is so much so that I uninstall it and install the Chinese version. No delay after that. Note that this is for my S4 experience, not MI3.

Obviously you got screwed. At least if you're expecting piston 2 and above.

Also check if there is "L" and "R" letter on your ear piece itself.

My goodness, you just bought yourself a fake MI3....
