Here is the story, On Friday Midnight I saw his thread selling iphone 5 which was a good deal RM1200, so final price to me is rm1000, so i transferred RM1030 to his Maybank bank , after i transfer the money I'm getting slow response from the seller, and he said his brother posted the item on SUNDAY (Not sure if Poslaju open this day) gave me a tracking number (EF293147179MY) at first i was shocked because this is April tracking number postage to kota kinabalu, then he said it was a typo so gave me new one (EF293257179MY) which haven't updated until now, He said he doesn't know why is this happend and he already contacted the poslaju regarding this matter, he said the latest i receive the goods will be on wednesday which is today. still didn't receive anything, I asked him for the poslaju slip since yesterday , still waiting until now he is quite a busy guy.

What makes me suspicious is
- He is quite busy after I send the payment
- Is hard to get him to reply me because he is busy
- His promise to COD with my dad at KL failed because he is busy
- He gave me a used tracking number at first place (typo)
- Second tracking number haven't been updated by poslaju until now, it's empty
- He post the item with Poslaju on sunday (not sure poslaju open this day or not, maybe yes maybe no)
- He Deactivated His Facebook (he said he deactivate fb due to personal matter)
- He Hide the whatsapp last seen (he said he hide it due to personal matter)

I Hope all this doesn't mean he is conman and i would still like to receive the iphone, but still I want to resolve this asap.
And btw he looks like a guy that have no financial problem on his FB but who knows.
And on my side, Its hard to collect RM1000 for me as a student on college with some part time jobs on Sabah , took me months for this money to buy an iphone 5 which i always wanted.

If any of you can find an information out of this guy will be highly appreciated.

He posted again the iPhone, because he said last postage i gave him an invalid address. which i certainly gave him a right address.

I receive the iPhone BOX!!! ONLY BOX!! WHERE IS THE IPHONE. at this part I'm really fed up, because i drive a long way to poslaju just to get the iphone just to find out its empty inside.
Claimed poslaju steal the iphone.

I'm actually from sabah, i wanted him to post the iphone here, my dad at bukit tinggi klang atm, was hoping for him to cod with my dad but he busy.

if thats the case i guess u should have waited for anyone selling iphone 5 in sabah and cod ..
if for me i wouldnt mind paying 100 or 150 more since its more reliable ...
postage in lowyat forum is so unreliable , even if you get your phone , it could have been damaged set and you wouldnt know , and he can blame the posloju for it .

edit: will lodge report to police and report to specific branches that organize this internet fraud crime if he is confirmed scamming me..
I will surely won't give up tracing this guy until i have refund or the iphone, I hope he is not scamming me .

UPDATE 17/7/2014:
~ He said the address I gave him back then was invalid so poslaju send back the item to him which is why no update on tracking number , today he is planning to send back the item to me.


Check back the address given by you. If you gave the correct address is either he wrote wrongly or its just another excuse of delaying. Plus even if he wrote wrongly there should be a poslaju slip for that.

You mentioned a list of what made you suspicious but the one BIG thing u missed out is the price.
The first thing that made it suspicious is the price.
At RM1000 (a negotiated reduction of RM200 which almost no forummer does), it's already too good to be true.
