hmmm about why jazz died, i think its because of its power core got separated from his body when he was torn in half by megatron. But still, he died way too fast

Just accept it loh, Jazz died with bravery like a true soldier

Consider the size of Megatron as well as the location they fought, Jazz has no way to run, plus his laser gun shots doesn't even hurt Megatron

The fight screen between Prime & Megatron is hugely disappointing. Michael Bay should've put more effort in it.

Heck In fact, most of the robot fight scenes in the movie are just plain bad. Why are the cameras zooming in on their chest/legs/back while they are fighting? It's like watching the fight from "mouse point-of-view", which makes the whole thing erratic and confusing.

I can't even see the punches and kicks properly.

That's what bothers me about Transformers, the cameras do not position themselves from robot point-of-view. The only time when I see them from head to toe was when they're falling off the highway, sewer...aka not fighting.

Do you see that when Neo fights Agent Smith (just to quote an example) or other kungfu scenes between humans? NO, we see them fight in an overall view, choreographed beautifully. Not some stupid closeup on the chest and legs where the fists are not punching on.

This movie is about the robots, so the fighting scenes between them should be clearly shown (and nicely choreographed). Clearly, the director is lacking the ability to consider all this when he shot the movie.

Oh, on a side note, why are they shooting each other at point blank range? Shouldn't they be hiding behind buildings (while shooting at each other) or flanking? We see all that in the cartoon version though...

Sigh, I guess that's wat you get for a movie with a budget of only US$150 mil (very low for blockbuster action movie).

My complaints are directed to the fight scenes only, the rest of it is still acceptable to me.

Err no you got it wrong Pontiac Solstice is Jazz's car. And Barricade's car is a Mustang Saleen.

yaloh.. looks exactly like an ahpek... still prefer the original look of the transformers.

The movie is great, but the robots look so similar until we don't know who's fighting whom sometimes. (of course Optimus Prime is still recognizable, as he wears bra)

Yeah, I also thought I saw it in Barricade vehicle mode follow by his Motto " To punish & enslave"
Wonder why the public in the movie didn't feel suspicious
I mean when Barricade turn up when Air Force 1 landing where there was a host a top agent & ironically no one notice it. It is suppose to be high alert situation then. Now where is Jack Bauer

the script had potential but many things didn't make sense.

1. why the army didn't blow up the helicopter 10km away before it reached the base?
2. how come the scorpion suddenly appear why was it tracking the survivors not the helicopter?
3. why when the scorpion attack it was sitting out in the open like a sitting duck and just firing long range shots?
4. why the commander hack the mainframe wires with an axe instead of blowing it up wif a grenade?
5. why the radio robot looks like it is having an orgasm when hacking the mainframe, just kidding, why it can hack the server in 10 seconds but takes 5 minutes to search and upload a virus....so nicely showing an upload bar too...IMHO impossible to hack within 10 seconds because of the network speed somemore why hacking got sound wan?
6. how come optims prime knows so much without needing to hack servers?
7. how come they can track the cube across the galaxy but not when it is in a small place, earth.
8. how come the army so stupid at the end wanna go "hide" in the city when such dangerous foes are coming, they dunno there will be many casualties meh?

I can understand the "ametuer style" of camera work. It is suppose to give the audience a feeling like they are actually there and make it more exciting but to most it is just irritating and disorientating. Even the fight scenes was done in a "human perspective of the fight" instead of the robots thats why its also disorientating. I couldn't tell who was who except for Bumblebee and Prime.

Most of the fight scenes were made to give the humans something to do. Megatron is suppose to be such an experience and ruthless warrior why didn't he just get Blackout to level the city with the pulse cannon or threaten to do so unless the allspark is given, knowing the humans and autobots will probably do it to reduce casualties instead of one-to-one battle. The deceptacons in the movie are shown to be more animalistic /barbaric than deceitful.

Last i heard,logic isn't heavily applied on movies,especially ones with giant alien robots fighting for a live giving cube.It's just a movie,not a real life event.I admit,lack of logic in a movie can bring it down a bit,but i don't think it's something worth debating over.The camera though really does need work.Things i think you people should stop doing,stop being mad at other people's opinion,realize this is just a movie,and don't bring epic fail into this thread.And that,is only my opinion.

just watched the movie yesterday,

have to say when the robots fought together, it was all going to fast. and the camera was focus so close cant really see wats going on. they should focus it out like ultraman.

Man,i would like to see that.

1. Cos its an US army helicopter. They need to make sure its enemy. Therefore let it lands. Some more no one knows its a Robot. Army can see only a person in it. Therefore no problem to take it down.

2. Helicopter lost the elements of surprise while no one seen Scorponok yet.

3. Maybe their original weapon didn't harm it. & the army & ppls scatter around so long range weapons are more effective

4. MAYBE grenade will cos him to die also? Just when a high ranking officer carry grenade around on their body?

5. Maybe their tech is so advance there's a possibility of hacking in seconds while our tech cannot support their tech so upload slow? Just like old PC can't support new software?

6. I thought he did mention he got info from the internet & web.

7. Cos the cube is surround by wall which is 10 football fields thick as mention by those S7 guys.

8. No idea.
