I think you can easily get an answer just by Googling laugh.gif

The Nikkor 50mm F1.8g is more expensive because it comes with an in-built auto focus motor to allow autofocusing (if you are using a Nikon D3xxx or D5xxx series DSLR, then this is the lens to get). The F1.8g is also way quieter when focusing and produces slightly better images and bokeh (background blur).

1.8G better in every way, just a bit costlier
