i use camera alot . 3c / redmi note has better camera?

anyone have upgrded to kitkat 4.4 and emUI 2.3? Can share some experience?

Yes apparently only release for China, but some other country user with similar Model are trying out too, its not recommended but jz wondering if anyone here have tried out.

I don't think so, indeed, i think you can safely install KitKat without unlocking at all,
i accidently figured that out after spending weeks trying other ways to install KK. 

I wanted to post the guides but i am looking for tester to confirm something before i do that,
but everybody seems to be in holiday mode, so i will just wait until someone willing to take the risk...

What can i say about this device is, there is 0% chance you can hard brick it, except hardware failure.
no matter what happen there is always a way to get the device back working, without sending it back to svc centre.
But if you really care about the warranty then this might be an issue for you, and you should stick with official then.

Hi everyone, I just got the phone (H30-U10) from 1gadget (AP set, ROM: sjrom.cn).
Current firmware: H30-U10 V100R001CHNC00B143

I realize that the camera quality is NOT that good as advertised.

I have been searching for the issues online and I found this link:

Batch 2013 31-Dec equipped imaging module "imx134liteonmipiraw".
Batch 2014 21-Jan equipped imaging module "imx134sunnymipiraw".

[imx134] is Sony's camera sensor, [liteon/sunny] is the manufacturer for packing the camera, [mipi] is output, [raw] is image output format.

They say the manufacturer "Sunny" produce better quality of imaging module than "Lite-on".

My phone is using "imx134liteonmipiraw", when taking picture at night results very noisy and over smooth, also less colourful and easily out of focus. Daytime is ok.

To check the camera model:
1. Dial [*][#][*][#][1][4][7][8][9][6][3][2][#][*][#][*] using Dialer,
2. choose 'Veneer information query',
3. choose 'ApparatusTypeQuery',

I am not sure is it true that Liteon's imaging module not good so Huawei quickly replace it to Sunny's?
Can you please share your night taken picture with your camera model and firmware?

Since our set cannot upgrade to CHN emui 2.3. have you or anyone try the new taiwan ROM of firware B115 the latest? any different?

Another thing just wanna clarify with you guys.. Anyone experiencing overheating issues of the phone during game playing etc ? Read few feedback that the processor which suspected located under the camera easily gets hot and really uncomfortable to hold the phone. Is it true?

Thank you bro for your feedback. BTW the OTA update went flawlessly, no issues there. But it was after vRoot the pho ne and installing few apps end up the phone rebooted and stuck at the animated HONOR logo.

#1 - I'll try the UPDATE.APP again and snapshot the UPDATE FAIL msg, stating something about VER LIST etc ...
#2 - Tried with error stating BOOT LOCK ROM etc ... I'm using the files from the link given in guide #2 with ROM ver B008 Taiwan? Will try again with the "H30-U10 V100R001C900B108_SIGNED.rar" downloaded from GameSky's link.

Will post again with snapshots for both errors if unsuccessful again ...
