You'll need to create a new folder and rename it "dload" before placing update.app into it.

Can't really tell about the lack of motion control as I don't use the feature, but, the empty page you show, did you click "online update" or "local update"?

It should be local update. Mine was B113 so there's a possibility that it wouldn't update as there's a version check before update, but, that'll only show when your device automatically reboot into recovery.

Honor 3C/3C Lite/4X/4X does not have any back-lighting for the capacitive keys/buttons.

Can you get a screenshot of the update notification? Want to verify build number before I can tell if it's recent.

Just did a double check. The latest official build is B109, so, unless you are having an earlier build number(I think it was B108), you shouldn't be getting any update notifications for a local Malaysian set.
