How can be sure the cable is compatible?

I used only the cable that comes with my Original adaptors.

The max charging rate I can test now is 1.2amp based on my S4 max input. Unless I can get a phone that can take full 2-2.1amp input, then I only I can verify if the charge rate can be more than 1.2amp.

Someone mentioned abt USB amp tester kit but don't know where to get it.

That's why trying to look for reliable and simple to use amp tester to see if the adaptor output is as stated. Using phones with input limits does not really measure the true capabilities of an adaptor.

I know the average current is the actual charge the phone is charging at.

Question is the maximum indicated in the app, the maximum current the phone can take or the maximum current CURRENTLY charging in (although the phone is taking only 1200 into the battery)?

It display the same for my adapters and XM PB 10.4K pb.

For 10.4k pb with output of 2.1amp, vs adaptor 2amp, the maximum amp should indicate differently if it indicate the true full charge of the adaptors.

That reading are the same no matter what I charge with, be it Samsung chargers, 10.4 xm pb or 5.2k xm pb. So I guess it does not really show the true charging rate from the cables but only show the current and max rate that the phone can take.

That means even xiaomi 10.4k powerbank cable also not 2 amp....

All the original cable that comes with note2 and s4 only not 2amp lor...

Where you get your 2amp cable?

Mm...mine is original note2 charger with the cable, taken directly from note 2 box ler.

So is my S4 charger and cable. Maybe its the phone limiting 1.2k

I have ori 2 note 2 chargers (1 comes with note2) and 2 ori S4 (1 comes with S4) charger comes all same reading.
