Erm... You do know that RAM is there to be used right? Unused resources are wasted resources so if a phone can keep your apps in the RAM and fully use it, it's actually a good thing. You get to launch apps faster.

Bought on 17/6. Received on 24/6. Use til now. lel. So far so gud. Actually all got technique wan, no such thing as luck.

So far so gud. It's serving me well. So far neva occur any self restart or total hang b4. Smooth. Riptide GP2, Asphalt 8 all running well. GPS damn pro, can lock in within 1 second, faster than my Nexus 7c. Camera is nice. My gf loves it.

Just not quite satisfy with miui's ram management. It eats up quite a bit of ram. Which is why i say 1S 1gb ram not enuff, coz surely half of it is eat up by miui. lel.

but then, android's ram management is totally different with window's ram management. For android, each ram not used is each ram wasted. So still ok la. even if I have only like 300mb ram left after opening many apps, the phones still won't lag or gets choppy.

err ..yea...but i'm trying to imply that miui is eating up a lot of ram. So for example, if u wanna play a game that nids a lot of ram. 1S won't cut it, but instead Honor 3c can. Try Clash of Clan. Some users say Clash of Clan only can open for 40% of the time. While Honor 3c have no prob opening Clash of Clan.

anyway, juz my opinion on miui. it is gud, just dat i dun like it hogging too much of my ram.

if u dun have data plan, yea it can. I use it mostly for calling, snapping like 2-3 pictures a day, browsing insta and fb via wifi. Can last me 2 days.

I'm not impressed with MIUI RAM management and Battery management. Otherwise, redmi 1S is very good

u using 1s right? Clash of Clan can be played? I saw from youtube comment the guy say 50% of the time cannot load. But would like to noe from a real user.

so i'm not sure. I tried my Nexus 7C 2012. Clash of Clan oso not getting pass the load screen. lel. I wonder why, is Clash of Clan requiring such big ram? I'm asking, coz I dun play it. lel. better wait for those who have 1s to try it out. Maybe CoC updated and require less ram now.

General Setting > Language & Input > Default > English (US) Google Keyboard.

or just untick the SwiftKey. Then Google Keyboard shud b the default keyboard dy.
