No they're not fake. It's just that the character your opponent chose hasn't been used a lot, hence the rank "beginner".

Once he has one character at rank "Initiate" and above, the game will automatically upgrade ALL character ranks under his name as "1st Dan".

It just means that he mainly plays other character primarily, but does not mean he doesn't know the fundamentals of the character he chose to fight you with.

I play King as my main, once my King gets beyond "Initiate", all my other characters upgraded to "1st Dan". Does not mean that I'm good at using Gigas because the game upgrades his rank automatically to "1st Dan", but the game assumes my fundamentals is competent enough to upgrade all other characters in the roster to "1st Dan".

Play with you where? Online? Offline? What do you want to learn about Kazumi? She's an easy character to pick up. I like to fool around with her tiger moves because it's so fun. I make sure my friends share the fun in playing with my tiger, too. Here's some silly footage: YouTube/Twitch.

Online not as convenient as offline for teaching since there's no online practice mode. I already told you at /k I use Kazumi what.

You mean low parry? Just hold d/f. Haven't you already found her launchers and combos at the Tekken Zaibatsu forums? Her move list has sample combos, too. Did you mean you wanted to learn parrying, launching, and pulling off combos in actual matches? That just takes practice.

Your timing is probably off, either too early or too late.

Oh right, I forgot that TZ uses a special notation for describing button input.

Keep practicing those combos until you can easily pull them off in matches, it's normal to be able to do them in practice mode but fail to do them in actual matches when you're still not used to them.

I think you need a gaming partner that's around your level so you can learn and progress together. It's definitely more fun that getting bodied by veterans.

There are way plenty more combos, the move list is just an appetizer.

Hye bro..welcome to tekken.. 1stly u must understand all the kazumi move list..how to launch.. Low attack,Mid attack or High attack it is.. After that go youtube type "kazumi tekken 7 combo" then see the video until u vomit.

After that enter practice mode, choose stage without wall like infinite azure practice the kazumi combo that u watched at YouTube until perfect. That's it.

For parry is easy man.. Or if u feel hard forget about that 1st. Just block the low attack enough.

Master ur combo 1st. Don't choose hard combo just choose the easier combo 1st.

Kazumi has the simplest and smallest move list among all the characters in the Tekken roster.

6 hits: d/f+2, b+2, f,f, 1+ 2 = 54 damage

d/f+2 for the tiger uppercut, then you land, b+2 for backhand slap that puts your opponent into a tailspin, then 1+2 for the quick left right punch ending with the tiger dashing attack.

A flashier variation would be d/f+2, b+2, u/f+3,4,3 or u/f+3,4,1. Combo that ends in Heihachi's familiar air juggle kick or Hwoarang's Hunting Hawk.

Combo extenders are the moves that is marked with the tailspin icon in the movelist in the game. That'll be once you're familiar with how combo extenders, wall splats and floor bounce works.

Kazumi's d/f+1 is among the fastest move in the game, comes out quick and an effective poke. But easily countered if blocked.

Well, at least it is a billion times better than Tekken 6.... I mean, nothing compares to that shit fest back in the PS3 days. So if you think T7 is bad, consider yourself lucky.

So, how does a pro play?

For non-Tekken players, it is very easy to be misunderstood what do "Pros" do special that separate the best from the rest. For one, they do very little flashy combos - they don't do stupid things like spamming 1 move for the entire round because the other pro will just easily parry the same move over and over again for an easy punish.

You will also see that when pros initiate a launch, most of the time the round is over - that's because they don't waste any moves after a launcher (again, no flash shit, just using effective, simple combos with precise timing).

Also one thing the best Korean players do better than anyone else in the game is movement and positioning. "Spammers" usually gets raped because they will whiff their spam move within 2 moves. I have no idea how long the Koreans practise on movement alone per-day though, I heard it's something stupid like 2 hours of non-stop backdash/wavedash/sidestep the first thing they boot up the game everyday. I don't know.

Ordered this two days back: eTokki Omni Korean Edition. Previous edition uses the Myoungshin lever, but the new iteration uses Taeyoung lever, that was reportedly used stiffer rubber grommets as its movement mechanism restrictor. Had a chat with Matt of eTokki and was assured that this issue was brought to their attention earlier and they've already changed the stuff rubber grommets with softer ones mimicking the Myoungshin lever. Reason why this is important is because stiffer grommets makes executing diagonal moves a hit or miss.

With that said, should I grow accustomed to this Korean stick, I do have these three sticks for sale. Budding fighting enthusiast may wanna take a look as I'm letting these go cheap.......except the exceptional SFV TES2+ stick.
