I thought about this also, turning off VSA when stuck in mud. Then I though shouldn't traction control help in such cases, I mean if TC can't get you out of the mud, endlessly spinning your wheels in it won't help either, right? Turning off VSA would switch off TC as well.

 

Question is....does stomping on the pedal gets you out of the mud or dig you deeper 

TC was designed for such scenario (albeit in snow or slippery surfaces) - intermittently applying brakes so the wheels can regain traction like ABS. Not sure if the same applies to mud.

Not really wor...when i press acceleration hard, it feel like dragging the car as it still locking the wheel...

One thing i notice is the brake is kind of hard to press down.. can only press till half like tat...

Does the lowest spec come with this feature?

Thanks for replying. I noticed you had no negative comments though. So you have no problems/gripes about your City at all? Sounds too good to be true  Are there any particular SCs you know that are good/bad? And as for test drives, I've been to two showrooms and they only have the V spec as a test drive unit. Also, Matrix mentioned earlier that V spec is harder than E spec. Why would the ride differ between specs? From what I understand the differences between E and V should be mostly cosmetic, things like airbags and foglights. I have already test driven the V spec with my mom in the back, and she said it wasn't that comfortable compared to some other models I test drove.

Unfortunately, best engines marred by problematic gearboxes. I will take an average engine with a reliable gearbox anyday.

Also to add on, it only works when headlamps are turned on. If turned off, the display is always at maximum brightness.
