that would void the delicate warranty that we all care so dearly. honestly I am also disappointed with the audio system too. sadly no $$ching $$ ching$$ to do anything about it. my priority now is to get a good sound proofing for the roof
(damn honestly sounds like milo tin !!)

The honda survey keep mentioned "void warranty if install other". So most likely you will void car audio, player, speaker, etc (that is related)

Hi,

Test drive a V spec yesterday as there is no E spec test to tried out.
So no chance to find out the rattling sound...stock ready and available..
Any kind advise from E spec owner ?
*
Rattling sound not only to e spec. It can happen to other spec. Depend on luck. I am e spec owner as well. Did not find any sound problem.

Morning All smile.gif

Need some advises from you guys :

I'm getting my Honda City E spec soon drool.gif and i heard MANY people said ...

"If new car, u cannot drive more than 90km/h because for engine break-in period... must wait until next service (10k mileage) only u can drive more than 90km/h."

Now the problem comes, i will need to drive from KL to penang on that day i collect my car. If follow the 90km/h.... shocking.gif  shocking.gif then drive 6 hour also tak sampai penang lagi doh.gif

icon_question.gif any expert here can give some advice ?
*
Here is an advise from car owner and expert who tell me.

Manual
1. Don't accelerate high when start your car - less than 1000km
2. Don't brake too hard when less than 300km

Expert-
1. Don't accelerate high when start your car - 2000km

Recommended to maintain less than 120km/h.

Downhill in N consumes more petrol than in D.

Not to mention extremely dangerous.
*
N= Neutral gear....lol...even more dangerous. When go downhill should avoid using brake and use lower gear to drag it. This is where S or L come into play....

*
Not difficult. Michelin is one of the provider. Others, please refer to http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/175-65R15

3. Ask your Tinted installer. They may have it for about RM100.

4. Make sure the lock doesn't modified wayaring. It will void warranty. You can install the pedal lock without installing cable.

Original Honda has tinted:- front windscreen VLT is 88%, side windows VLT is 94% while the rear windows is 94% VLT.

So what's the highest VLT tint allowed for the tints for windshiled, front side tint, behind passenger tint and rear windows?

I read about the calculations somewhere but totally forgot about it.  laugh.gif
*
For the side windows tint, can tinted with max 53% VLT while the back of the car tinted with max VLT allowed is 32%. Lastly, the front windscreen can be tinted in a maximum of 79% VLT before able to passed the inspection

True - depend on traffic, idle and highway/road. Try drive without econ mode on or change fuel brand. So far i'm getting 16+ on normal road with traffic jam and sometimes 90/100. I notice the km/l will start to drop when idle a lot/traffic jam.

hi guys, I'm planning to get 2015 car, depending on the waiting period, so i pay booking fee in Dec, should be able to register car in 2015 and collection in Jan/Feb right?
*
Based honda sa told me, to be safe is book car end of Dec, then can get 2015 car by Jan or Feb. Their production line produce 2015 start Jan. But do expect high volume as everyone want like this and cny.

Hi guys, i just finished study and going to get myself a new car, currently im in a dilemma to choose either vios or city. Vios is quite tempting since i found a rebate of 6k for the J spec while 4k rebate for the city models. However, im love more on the interior details for the city. BTW, for the city, shud i go for the S specs or the E? thanks guys! smile.gif

this thread will reply u - City. E Spec is nice (using it). But depend your budget. Plus bank need to see your salary and how much u can afford to pay.

thanks bro for the reply, how long u been using it bro? so far ok? service ok? i just graduate from my degree last july, now is my 4th month working, salary 2.8-3k. Am i suitable for this? monthly roughly how much u pay? thanks again bro notworthy.gif

your salary need to at least 1/3 for the loan repayment per month (after deduct income tax, kwsp, any other loan). My loan 60K for 6 years and i put downpayment- 20K (e-spec). Every month RM960 repayment.
the question is how much your down payment? Download an app called "car loan calculator" to identify your monthly repayment, duration of your loan, interest put (2.7%). If you drag till 9 years then most likely u won't able to repay. Next do you have NCD for insurance 55% discount?

My 1st car is wira. So i can bring forward NCD and no need to pay a lot of insurance on yearly basis.

All this come very important as every month you will struggle to pay. Unless you put a lot of down payment. So think carefully when get 1st car as you may suffer to next 6-9 years and end up no life.

So choose and think wisely.
