If I might make a suggestion, maybe the tryhard unkers and the just for fun unkers can put up their hands and say which one they are, then they can group together appropriately.

Prior experience suggest that this won't work. Everyone starts out as tryhard, then moves on to "It's just a game," and "We're playing for fun," etc. once they start failing hard.

My suggestion is simple - use the tag feature on your Steam buddy list to segregate players into a "good" and "bad" list. At least then when you start a game you know upfront what to expect.
