Im volunteering myself. I think 3 is more than enough for this small tourney. At least if 1 or 2 has some urgent matters to attend to then we will have some backup.

So right now tourney admins are

1. Oro (Founder)
2. vinod (Carto)
3. Me (Lanfear)

Im leaning towards AP mode as it wont stress out those new comers if it was to be in CM mode. It benefits new comers / lower MMR group. We will decide once we have the tourney admins confirmed.



Yes try to get a minimum of 4 teams (20 players). But teams will be randomly and transparently formed in terms of MMR as of now. So to let them know we are not biased hahaha

Once we get all this setup, maybe Ill start looking for some prize sponsorship. Of course ill be sponsoring myself. Maybe in terms of immortals, legendary, mythical, rares

if the tourney starts at same time then should be able to avoid smurfs since its just 4 team as starter

Hmm dont have to worry about smurfs as player's MMR and random.org are the one deciding which player goes into which team.

This is what im suggesting. Once we got our lets say 20 players, ill list highest to lowest MMR rank. Once its done, I will start segregating them in 4 as below (highest MMR to lowest in groups of 5).

1. 6200 MMR 5. 4792 MMR 9. 3670 MMR 13. 3017 MMR 17. 2710 MMR
2. 6120 MMR 6. 4591 MMR 10. 3490 MMR 14. 3000 MMR 18. 2643 MMR
3. 5493 MMR 7. 4200 MMR 11. 3392 MMR 15. 2890 MMR 19. 2340 MMR
4. 5200 MMR 8. 4001 MMR 12. 3291 MMR 16. 2790 MMR 20. 2290 MMR


From there, we will have 5 groups. Then here we will shuffle each groups placement through random.org.

Example after shuffle:
1. 5200 MMR
2. 6120 MMR
3. 6200 MMR
4. 5493 MMR

Repeat for the remaining 4 groups and then we can make our 5 teams.
Team 1 = 1,5,9,13,17
Team 2 = 2,6,10,14,18 etc

Fair and implementable?

because if 1,5,9,13,17,ull be taking the top mmr in the first team.means itll have a better overall average than others.

That is why Im shuffling the position of 1,2,3,4 in random.org. I think you miss that part in my post. From there it depends on luck to determine the position in the groups
