last month in Maybank treats fair I come across with a new brand of rechargeable battery - Fujitsu which I hardly see in other place.
the sellers claimed that fujitsu technology is the same as those sanyo eneloop battery.
so I had a look on the packaging of 2000mAh AA,
it shows having 1800 recharge cycle times, low self discharged rate, after 5 years it still remain 70% of its power when full charged.
by looking on those features, its seem very similar with all the eneloop,
so am wondering, anyone around here did a test use on this new brand? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif
mind to share

I'm the heavy user for Eneloop battery for flash. Seems like no issue after using 2-3years and give me 5 star for rating.

After that, i'm not interested to use another battery.

ya, I knew eneloop being good quality all the time.
but what surprise me is, the sellers told me that, eneloop is taken over by Panasonic,
so for eneloop batteries, will no longer made in japan, and will be in made in china by their own factory..
this is the info they updated me..

Sanyo got into trouble around 2005-7. In 2009, Panasonic bought just over 50% of Sanyo. A few years later, they bought the rest (IINM). Sanyo is a subsidiary of Panasonic and has been for a few years.

I see.. I think you get it right too..
search thru the internet,
it seem Panasonic manage bought the eneloop brand only,
but due to some EU restricted rules, sanyo had to sold it battery plant to FDK (fujitsu)
according to this news link :
http://www.law360.com/articles/130919/sany...su-unit-for-71m

seem like its gonna be something new battery gadget as an option for our flash soon..

anyone would willing to give it a try?

err are you try to bump this thread?
Anyway, I still prefer Eneloop over other brand. Mainly use for speedlite. I also use it on cordless phone, to replace the oem battery.
Other brand I already use is mahapower Imedion, GP LSD battery and E8GE battery.

So far, Eneloop win

haha, ya, kinda like bumping it, due to here is not allowing me to using the bump button. so I am forced to reply with "refresh"~

anyway just awaiting any users that had started using this so called fujitsu rechargeable battery claimed as the same production factory with eneloop.
so it could maybe be a new guide line for me whenever I gonna purchase one..

so far I guess eneloop leading the market all the way..
hope there are gadget freak gonna share their testing after used.. =)

I'm using the Fujitsu rechargeable AAA for my DECT phone. Previously using Eneloop AAA.

So far the performance is comparable.
