QUOTE(arthur88 @ Oct 10 2014, 10:03 AM) wait another 1 year or 2... I would definitely see.. but if another 1 or 2 years, it would be fine as its 2-3 years lifespan.. as long as it don't spoils every few month.

QUOTE(Logi1300 @ Oct 15 2014, 03:49 PM) Hi, May I know whether we can clean our engine bay or not ? If yes, normally which part that is prohibited from cleaning ? and using what kind of solution to clean the engine bay ? Thanks. Usually, just have to cover the alternator, and don't hose down straight into the air intake.. apart from that, its safe to even use normal car wash.. if you want, you can use specific spray for engine bay..

QUOTE(terryble @ Oct 16 2014, 05:34 PM) Not to forget to mention, the spark plug area, the fuse box and the battery connector as well~~dun spray those parts as well~~ send it to a professional, they will know what to cove up before cleaning~~ normally they will use plastic bag and cut into the size of the components....stick with tapes before doing some serious spraying~~ usually what i do will be just wipe with wet cloth.. so, no worries.. i don't practice hosing down in the engine bay..

Front door(both driver and passenger) not closed properly and if you lock the door, it wont lock.. u can hear the mechanism trying to lock and will unlock by itself..
Back door (both side) and trunk not closed, you lock, it will be indicated by the horns..
Panels moving up and down, its normal and i dont bother about it.
Even driving at 120km/h is silent for me.. thats good enough.. (i do fixed the rubber seal on all doors from the 1st day i get my car, maybe that contributed more in terms of silence)

QUOTE(terryble @ Oct 31 2014, 11:50 PM) Guys~~it is about 10 months pass~~and one of my main lamp bulb was down~~ wonder is it due to the wire harness warranty successfully replace by some forumers here~~ was thinking to go for philips crystal vision~~any other recommendation? Actually doesn't relate and Preve headlamp will easily burnt. no permanent solution for this as some say must do grounding, and stuff like that.. i have changed my headlamp to HID and no issues so far.. more than 1 year with the headlamps.. and its always in Auto mode..

QUOTE(terryble @ Nov 3 2014, 12:22 AM) Thanks for the response~~~ prefer to have the hassle free halogen bulb~~ u dun worry u get pull over? i dun always switch on the lamp~~ Usually those who get pulled over for HID is the using more than 5000K temperature rating. mine is 4300k (the allowed rate in Malaysia) and moreover using it in the projector. So, the light dont glare the opposite drivers.. Have went through alot of police roadblock and even JPJ, so far, never been stopped for the HID..

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Nov 3 2014, 02:29 PM) I installed Osram 5000k as my high beam, and Philips 4300k as low beam. One night I purposely switched on my high beam at a JPJ roadblock, I got stopped and they let me go because they said it was not HID. However I think it might be isolated case and still dependent on their discretion However the 5000k is really white and bright, but it does not glare oncoming cars like an HID would 1) Sensors will be gone. 2) Wiring would be gone. 3) The tint is applied right at factory, I don't think any SA can arrange for third party tint without additional cost. As what i said previously, because the installation of HID is done in the low beam light (in a projector), it does not glare the opposite driver.. So pretty safe.. As long as i dont install it in the high beam or the fog light would b fine..

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Nov 3 2014, 03:07 PM) But in my case, I installed the 5000k as the high beam, they let me go because it is not technically a 'retrofitted HID', just a halogen bulb Lucky you.. Bt i would say, even installing a HID to high beam but lower temperature rating would b alright i guess..

QUOTE(fix24311 @ Nov 4 2014, 02:32 PM) ya...i was just about to claim front sensor if turns out new Preve has one Chill bro.. enough frustration for the 1st batch owners of Preve Premium and Exec. We dont get as much airbag or the VT3+ (for premium).. definitely preve dont come with front parking sensors.

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Nov 4 2014, 03:14 PM) Yeah my bad, since I thought post-2013 Preve followed Suprima S specs and features, so it might have the front sensor Nope.. its still lacking on the front parking sensors, leather seats, hill hold assist, leather gear knob and hand brake lever..

QUOTE(alien9 @ Nov 4 2014, 04:01 PM) And gear light indicator for exec model. Can't brain the decision for this to differentiate between exec and premium model. Exec model now have gear light indicator?? QUOTE(plumberly @ Nov 4 2014, 04:54 PM) In sending my son to his school, I have to make a U turn and then a left turn about 100 m later. That road is the main and quite busy at timers and thus one to make the turn quite fast. Surprised that after the U turn, the left turn signal light came on automatically without me switching on the left signal. Am I the only one who has experienced this? No, I was not day dreaming! Ha. Definitely not a feature in Preve unless yours comes with Satellite Radar Guided Signal Assist (i made that up)

QUOTE(alien9 @ Nov 4 2014, 05:08 PM) No, it still lacks that. That's the dumbest shit ever to differentiate an Exec and Premium model car. Actually lots of things can differentiate.. lack of the gear light is one. exec interior also is brown instead of the shiney thing, dont have rear spoiler (even some exec owners put the rear spoiler, can still differentiate by looking at the base of the antenna.. if smaller, sure exec as premium comes with bigger base for GPS)

QUOTE(plumberly @ Nov 5 2014, 08:42 AM) Noted the same auto left signal this morning. I am 100% sure I did not accidentally trigger the left signal. I saw the light on the panel changing from right to left by itself! Maybe on normalising the steering wheel (by itself or by hand) after the right turn, that triggers the left signal. Software fault? Will try again on open empty road/car park. Anyone with the same observation? Cheerio. I do think you have to check.. i never had it before.
