dashboard got crackling sound when driving, quite loud too,

This how any turbo works. Even at the moment you start the car, it will be already spooling (spinning the turbine without providing any boost to the engine).. On our Preve, the turbo will provide boost from 2k rpm to 4k rpm (at 205nm flat due to our CVT gearbox).. after 4k rpm, turbo will still be running but torque will be reduced.. this boost can be altered by tuning but not recommended for our car due to the gearbox again..

In other cars, such as EVO (manual gearbox) turbo lag can be felt before the boost.. The engine performs only on certain boost or rpm.. For an example, in gear 5 at 50km/h, if pedal pressed down fully on an EVO, the car would not want to move forward.. it will feel sluggish, hence the need to change to a lower gear is needed.. but this is not applicable for a NA (naturally aspirated / without turbo) cars.. the same situation, the car will still move forward..

In some other cars, like previous gen Golf GTi, they used both supercharger and turbo as supercharger will provide the initial pickup force (torque) at lower rpm and the turbo at higher rpm..

in laymen term, Torque is important to provide the car the initial pickup and horsepower for the car to retain the speed or even pushing it to the top speed..

The "key" u put into the slot is actually a transponder only(like your office door access card), once your car had confirmed the code in the transponder, the engine can start even if you have pull it out...thats why even if ur remote run out of battery completely it will still function as it does not require battery (again just like your door access card)...but u do need to open the door manually with the key~~

in short....the "key" is an anti theft measure that prevent unauthorized person from starting your engine and steal ur car....although Proton make it a bit stupid** ..but...Preve Premium is genuinely a "keyless entry" vehicle where no physical key is require...

**other car makers may just detect the transponder when it is nearby and u can open the door and start engine with the transponder in your pocket and do NOT even need to take it out~~just wondering if it is radioactive

They won't be able to as the car cannot detect the key, or rather the transponder inside the key.

Well, they normally can't, a fully prepared and equipped thief can still steal your car anyway.

For Syn3000, allowable service intervals is 10k.

Actually syn 800 can tahan 10k too, from COSE....but saw many forumers said not recommended....

mayb i am using syn800 so need go at 6k service. i top up Rm32 yesterday for the EO upgrade.

For the service interval, look up your Service Booklet. Follow that one as not to void the warranty.

Check with your SC on S 800 at 10,000 km interval service.

I will be going for my next service at 11,000 km (now with S1000).

they ask me come at 6k service.

which sc you book the slot ? may try book on other sc 

Hmmm, this statement is so unclear....Mean that everything from the vendor/parts manufacture is 3 years? and Proton Edar provide us additional 2 years on that? hmmm...

For long journey I would definitely use RON97 now.
