I just got back from a holiday in Kuantan. During my travel there, I've noticed that my fuel paddle was not responsive for 1second-ish and that occurred 3 times.
It happened when the car was on the move, not during full stop to start.
What's the issue here?
And list of things to fix at SC: 1. Reverse sensor failing. Continuous beeping sound. 2. Steering shake quite hard occasionally. 3. USB charger doesn't work at the front cigarette socket. 4. Broken right rear fog-light. 5. Water dripping at the front passenger seat during excessive rain. 6. Sound quality issue when using Head Unit Mic. 7. Fuel paddle unresponsive.

In sending my son to his school, I have to make a U turn and then a left turn about 100 m later. That road is the main and quite busy at timers and thus one to make the turn quite fast.
Surprised that after the U turn, the left turn signal light came on automatically without me switching on the left signal.
Am I the only one who has experienced this? No, I was not day dreaming! Ha.
Yes, that happened to me too, not. Hahaha. It happened but on the wiper stick, sometimes I triggered the wiper whenever I make a turn, so probably it's due to that.
Exec model now have gear light indicator?? Definitely not a feature in Preve unless yours comes with Satellite Radar Guided Signal Assist (i made that up)
No, it still lacks that. That's the dumbest shit ever to differentiate an Exec and Premium model car.
Had an accident this evening after the gym at the club. Reversed my car and scratched the Saga parked at the back (parked illegal). Damage to my Preve as shown in the photo.

Appreciate your view on how I can DIY repair the damage. Or better ask the car shop to do that? Cost?
What a day!
P/S Damage to the Saga was a scratch about 3 inches long above the bigger scratch at the front right light area (the wife scratched it while parking before this incident). The high back, poor lighting (at 6 pm) and the black Saga parked at an illegal area added to my mistake. I heard the beep and the light scratch. Good that I was not reversing fast. Otherwise it will be body dents instead of just paint.
What a coincidence. Someone scratch my car when I'm at work today. Most probably he/she parked his/her car next to my car and scratch the rear bumper when trying to exit the parking. Quite sad but luckily it's just a minor scratch
For those who got the free YES wifi device that comes free with the Preve Turbo, do you still get the free line after 1 year? Surprisingly, it is already more than 1 year and still the line of my YES wifi device is still active.
I thought the line of the YES device is only up to 1 year?
Proton giving free credit worth RM 60 x 12 months. If you still got the rebate for more than 12 months, that's good for you. However, the wifi donggle capability will still works whether you have active line or not, it's just that you can't online with it.
I read around that after one year YES will not credit the Proton anymore but will keep charging you instead if you don't terminate it. It was unscrupulous practice by YES. better you check it out with them. I'm fairly certain you will be billed. But if you don't, then update the finding here
That YES donggle is a prepaid donggle. You need to have credit in it to use internet.
remember: YES have rm30 charge per month for administration on the current plan Proton provide us. Just check this statement on your ID at YES website. I already check mine
Proton gave us RM60 monthly, but RM30 will be deducted, therefore only RM30 worth of credit available on my usage.
I got RM 60 every month from Proton and YES didn't take RM 30 out of it. Everytime they give me credit, I'll topup RM 10 and buy a VP68.
BUT, you only entitled to carry forward RM 30 of that RM 60 credit to next month if you didn't use the credit and that is what I've been told.
nay, on my statement on YES website rm30 is deducted every time proton credit rm60. it was maintenance fee i read some where on the terms, can't recall which.
so forward my concern to YES they said it's because of the old plan that proton give me, they advise me to finish the usage until one year, and terminate and switch to their new plan
And I'm using the new plan. I've made a call to YES when I got the huddle, just to clarify everything about it. It's a Prepaid and it won't work without credit in it and obviously having a plan is much better than without having one.
Drive Preve like you would a manual, just like when you did hill test when taking driving license.
1. Stop on hill 2. Foot on brake 3. Pull handbrake 4. Foot OFF brake 5. Foot on accelerator 6. As the car feels like it wants to move, slowly release handbrake
I wonder why people dont talk about the SAT gear function? Since most of the owners hate the CVT?
Saga FLX "Proton does have an option for those favouring a more aggressive driving style: It has equipped the Saga FLX CVT with a “Stepped Automatic Transmission” (SAT) feature to simulate the gear shifting pattern of a conventional six-speed automatic.
With this feature activated through a SAT button near the gearshifter, the transmission control unit will allow the engine revs to drop slightly during upshifting while inducing a gentle transmission jerk at the same time."
