Ya I know that samsonh has no resale value n laggish...

that's y I fancy iPad... But now thinking whether to wait only lo... If can get cheaper for brand new ori set I will go for 2nd gen
The biggest difference between Apple and Samsung is that the former dont reduce price until the next gen is out while Samsung keep cutting price to attract more buyers as technology advances. Apple stand on pricing is what help maintain resale value.
Android tablet was hampered by volume problem, which is why they are expensive, but not necessary perform better. NVIDIA introduction of Tegra 2 & 3 didn't help either with its sub par performance.
Personally I think consumers have to educate themselves on the different offering on the market, instead of blaming manufacturers for misleading them. Most would focus on their advantages rather than pointing out their weaknesses compared to their competitors.
Personally, I still couldn't recommend Android tablet because of the lack of standard when it comes to app compatibility. A lot were horribly done or simply not supported when you are running on different SoC.
For me, there is no perfect tablet. That's why I have Android, iOS and Windows 8.1 tablets.
