Great taste you have there. Can share where you bought your stainless steel hanger and mirror cabinet?

Thanks for the reminder, I was supposed to list them all down.

good luck in ur reno

i also engaged Homemark for my kc, cabinets and custom made furniture and they have completed their works in my house last week ... I'm guessing you deal a lot with Wai and Sam?

Highly recommend them, I like their good service and personal attention from their bosses.... no regrets..

Yup I deal with Ah Wai and Christine. They're really prompt in handling the jobs.
Hope to see my end products soon as well, but still need some time to customise and do up the cabinets. 2 more weeks to gooooooooooo ...

The price is reasonable and not charged excessively like other KC companies.

Workmanship is excellent, the installers are local old timers. There were times when they did some minor mistakes, but it was rectify quickly whenever I raise my concerns.

PM me if you need specific details of the costs

My original height 10 feet, after plaster ceiling minus 6inches.
Except for entrance all the way to kitchen, I followed the beams/windows about 2 feet, which means I'm left with about 8 ft plus.

I have to agree on the pricing portion, they're considered one of the most decent.
U won't find this kind of price with Unity, CSL, Kitchen plus all these as they're considered as mid-high tiers. What you paid for melamine for them, you get like 4G glass from Homemark. Can't talk about workmanship yet as I've yet to install, but I saw their factory ones, looks very decent.

The wall that is 6ft, that's where I want to put my sink and hob. Same position like yours, just imagine without the first cabinet on the left before your sink. Technically, I got no wet and dry...just one to do everything.

I have a peninsula with a bit of a L there. Go see my diagram at the kitchen thread.

Downlights all done but some belum pasang wire to switches. Living hall L box and downlights still belum siap yet.
Realised that there's some flaws with the downlight, like the light is coming out from the side of the casing kind of thing. Nothing too serious, I still can accept.

Firstly, this is a self preference thing.
Secondly, I know the origin of my pallet which is from a company that ships in cables and non-harmful stuffs. Those from Mudah I really can't guarantee, bcos previously it might be from fresh food or chemical then the pallets might already be infested. Mine are stamped with EPAL and they were kept indoor. There's a few ways to determine if your pallet is save to use.
More information from here: Pallets
Pallets safe to use or not

Next, the pallets is not meant to be just use as raw.
Here a guide Pallets Guide
Things to know about your pallets

There's people over in Europe, Australia and many other places making furniture out from pallets since ages ago, they don't really seemed to hv termites problem. Unless you're using in a really damp area that invites all these insects to come. The finishing should be completed with varnish and paint to prevent termites. Even dining table, the top should be a layer of glass.

Perhaps I will give it a try and I will be able to feedback in future.
