QUOTE(JohnnyBeGud @ Oct 28 2014, 12:27 PM) Hi guys, appreciate your recommendations. You sure RM600 Per Room? To let you know Japan vert strict on this ..one room max 2 pax only. You don't ever think can rent one room but 4-5 pax share one room. This won't work in Japan.I will be arriving in Tokyo via Shinkansen at Tokyo Station. Can anyone recommend an easily accessible 4-5 star hotel along the JR line? Maximum budget is RM 600 per night. I would prefer to use as little metro as possible since I'm traveling in a group and with baggage. So you still sure want RM600 Per Room? One person have to pay RM300 per night. |

QUOTE(JohnnyBeGud @ Oct 28 2014, 01:07 PM) I'm traveling with my family. So, budget's not a problem. But still, RM600 it the maximum lah. If you can recommend cheaper around 450-500 than that would be better. You can Try Agoda.Previously I was looking at Marunaouchi Metropolitan Hotel, but somehow my travel agent could not get the booking confirmation. So, I'm currently looking for alternatives. |

QUOTE(Hazimo @ Oct 31 2014, 09:20 AM) Dear RC and other taiko. 3 Days for Kyoto I have allocated 7 days in kansai area. 3 days for kyoto, 1 for nara and 1 for osaka. I have another 2 day before my JR pass expired (last day will be used to travel back to tokyo, so only one whole day left). is it worth to spend 1 day to hiroshima to visit the peace park and downtown area or better spend more time in kyoto. if yes? is it advisable to combine with miyajima? another question, can i put himeji castle at my last day before i go back to tokyo? thanks sifu 1 day for Nara 1 day for Osaka 1 day for Kobe Or 2 days for Osaka Himeji Castle please refer to Page 1. QUOTE(Hazimo @ Oct 31 2014, 09:39 AM) so either Kobe or another day in Osaka? Ok tq RC. 3 hour can complete whole castle tour. From Osaka to Himeji Station by Shinkansen just 40 Minutesorry i forgot to mention that i will be travelling on 28s march until 13 april 2015 so based on my itinerary, i plan to visit himeji on 9th april. if there is no delay in the completion time, i think i will arrive just nice after the renovation is completed. so RC, can i combine with my trip back to tokyo or maybe another destination or should i allocated 1 whole day for himeji (i dont plan to visit mount shosha n the temple in the last samurai movie) |

QUOTE(masterelr @ Nov 3 2014, 08:56 PM) This might be a bit of a dumb question...but I've just exchanged RM3060 for 100,000 yen and I was given ten 10000 notes. I asked the cashier if they can give me smaller notes and they say they don't have. In Japan. Customers is GodNow..should I exchanged them with smaller notes when I reach Tokyo? Maybe at 7 Eleven or something? I'm worried that if I use 10000 yen to pay a 500 yen meal they won't accept it because they don't have any change or something. Not sure if something like this happens in Tokyo but it does happen here. You walk into 7 Eleven to purchase a RM2 drink and give them RM10, the cashier will either tell you to go find some small change or go somewhere else and buy. They never say no to customers. Customers always right. Because Malaysia Money exchange only got 10000 Yen note. Same like you change China RMB only got 100 But beware....most money exchange in Malaysia they also only accept 10000Yen if you want exchange back to RM.
