i m french and i use this forum because it s a great to have a lot of good intel.

But i dont understand the meaning of this (line in red only) :

Local Prop:
This setting needs to be changed at /data/cust/prop/local.prop
Change the file properties from -rw-r--r-- (644) to -rwxrwxrwx (777) otherwise you can't save changes.

When saving, the charset needs to be set to GBK otherwise you will brick your phone.???????????????

After saving, revert the properties to -rw-r--r--

#ro.config.ShowNavigationBar=true <=add "#" to comment out the original line, then add the 2 lines below.
ro.config.hw_shownavisettings=true
ro.config.hw_navigationbar=true


some explications will be welcome. How i can change in GBK ????

i have update my 7D 501 L in 4.4.2 B102, i have used Vroot 1.7.8. i have installet S U and busybox, granted root access to roo browser but i can change the property of build.prop in rwxrwxrwx.

i use root browser, and i have tried with solid explorer and root explorer => acess denied when i try to change the property of build.prop rwxrr to rwxrwxrwx.

I have used vroot1.7.8.8, i enable usb debugging, i connect the phone in hisuite, in security i allow apk unknown, vroot install the root.
i donwload SU (i update it and unstall the apk root of vroot) and after i install busybox. I give root acess to all apk. And nothing i can change the property of the file build;prop. i m in B102. 7D 501 L

i try it now from the beginning.
and i have a done a factory reset and i ll try to use vroot without antivirus.

ok it s good but what is a good text editor for local.prop use GBK ?

u can try to recover your x1 like the huawei ascend mate pershap it will work. Put on a empty sd card the rom B007 R2 in dload and when u boot, before the HW logo, try to push "start + volume up and volume -" or "start + volume +" or "start + volume -"

On my ascend mate after a lot of try the phone has charged the rom. pershap

yes like on ascend mate, we need to find several theme, normaly chinese theme will work (if it s the same of the ascend mate)

I have tried the XDA method => i have installed the MAJ to put MAJ 503 L on 501 L = faill

i m in B102 German, rooted.

So what i can do to have the new B103 ?
