I do like Mediapad M1, 8 inch.

But the RAM is 1GB. Will be okay if 2 GB RAM.

Hi all, lively discussion for KitKat.

I was told that the Huawei MY FB site is flooded with unhappy users not getting KK for the X1, but it looks like a Mr. Lim Chin Wee is the one raising hell. Anyone from here?

https://www.facebook.com/HuaweiDeviceMY/pho...otal_comments=3

Still, Huawei should just release the damned fw since it is already available for 503L and 501L Europe.

HuaweiDeviceMY are you listening to your users?
*
I do post a comments there.
I feel like throwing my X1 on Huawei CEO face, Richard Yu

Any outcome, or can someone install B111 from the Russia website?

It looks for 501L, since the version is B111 after B102.
Cannot be for 501u or 503L

Thanks man. It should be applicable for SG use too I believe.

I hope so.
I believe Singapore & Malaysia under Asia region, apart from Taiwan.
Mostly the coding is similar.

Downloading the firmware now.
Hope is a KitKat, else I condemn Huawei again in FB! Haha

can not enjoy the update yet....My X1 still in their center. Claim warranty. Problem with my speakers, sometimes got sound and sometime don't have it. But already a month if counting this week. Calling them an the answer "still to rectify the issue'.

Already 1 month woooooo.............sad wooo.....
*
Standard is 45 days?

If it is a major fault by them, I guess its one-to-one exchange

Dear All,

did you guys notice that, Huawei Taiwan has removed the latest Firmware?

I surf the website on 24 Sep 2014 at 10.15am
*
Look and observe the URL link:

consumer.huawei.com/en/ - Worldwide (i guess forever no updates?)
consumer.huawei.com/tw/ - Taiwan
consumer.huawei.com/my/ - Malaysia
consumer.huawei.com/sg/ - Singapore

I believe actual firmware will be release according to phone selling/distribution location?

P/s:
The Taiwan firmware B007, is still there

I guess I will re-install back version B102 (Germany).

Few themes in Germany B102 version compare to Malaysia B008 versionY

Malaysia B008 version:

Not much option in the "prefer network"

AnTuTu benchmark is 240108
Slower than Germany and Taiwan version

Common theme available

My verdict:
Re-install Germany version B102

Few themes available
Faster benchmark

Bye2 Malaysia B008 firmware
Very disappointing
